This Purchase Order is issued by Karachi Business Analytics Division for the engagement of a qualified and experienced Statistician to provide comprehensive statistical analysis, data modeling, and quantitative research services. The Statistician shall be based in Pakistan Karachi and shall report directly to the Chief Data Officer at the Clifton office. The scope of work includes but is not limited to the following deliverables:

The Statistician engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related quantitative discipline from a recognized institution in Pakistan or abroad. A minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in statistical consulting, data science, or quantitative research is required. The Statistician must be physically present in Pakistan Karachi for a minimum of four (4) working days per week at the buyer's Clifton premises, with the remaining day allocated to remote analytical work.

• Payment shall be made in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Pakistan Karachi.
• Twenty-five percent (25%) advance payment shall be disbursed within seven (7) working days of the acceptance of this Purchase Order.
• Fifty percent (50%) shall be paid upon successful completion and delivery of the consumer survey and Bayesian model deliverables, subject to written acceptance by the Chief Data Officer.
• The remaining twenty-five percent (25%) shall be paid upon the final month-end report and completion of the full three-month engagement period.
• All payments are subject to the deduction of applicable withholding tax as per the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Pakistan Karachi regulations.
• Invoices must be submitted in triplicate along with a valid Sales Tax Invoice (STI) and a copy of the Statistician's professional engagement letter.

• This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Karachi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
• The Statistician shall maintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary data, trade secrets, and business intelligence accessed during the course of this engagement. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be executed prior to the commencement of work.
• The supplier is responsible for providing all necessary software licenses, statistical tools (including but not limited to R, Python, SPSS, SAS, or Minitab), and computational resources required for the Statistician to perform the assigned tasks.
• The Statistician shall comply with all data protection and privacy regulations applicable in Pakistan Karachi, including the Personal Data Protection Bill provisions where applicable.
• Any modification, extension, or cancellation of this Purchase Order must be documented in writing and signed by both parties. Verbal agreements shall not be binding.
• The supplier warrants that the Statistician assigned to this Purchase Order shall not be concurrently engaged in a competing capacity with any other entity operating in the Pakistan Karachi market research or analytics sector during the contract period.
• Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed lockdowns in Pakistan Karachi, or civil unrest, shall suspend obligations under this Purchase Order for the duration of the event, with a maximum suspension period of thirty (30) days.
• The buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice in the event of material breach, unsatisfactory performance, or failure to meet the deliverable milestones outlined in Section 3.

The Statistician shall commence duties no later than 1 July 2025 at the buyer's office located in Pakistan Karachi. All interim deliverables shall be submitted in both digital (PDF and native file formats) and printed copies. The final comprehensive statistical report, including all model documentation, code repositories, and methodology appendices, shall be delivered by 30 September 2025.
