Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order1. This Purchase Order is issued by the Wellington Regional Hospital, New Zealand Wellington, and constitutes a binding agreement upon acceptance by the supplier. All items listed are specifically procured for the use of the Lead Surgeon and the surgical team at the Wellington Regional Hospital.
2. All surgical instruments and equipment must comply with the New Zealand Medical Device Regulations 2000 and must carry valid certification for use in New Zealand Wellington healthcare facilities. The Surgeon's department requires all items to be traceable and within their recommended service life.
3. Delivery of all items under this Purchase Order must be made to the designated receiving dock at Wellington Regional Hospital, 2 Princes Street, Thorndon, New Zealand Wellington, no later than 29 June 2025. Late delivery will incur a penalty of 2% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay.
4. The supplier warrants that all Surgeon-grade instruments are new, unused, and free from defects. A minimum two-year warranty is required on all capital equipment items (electrocautery units, surgical microscope, and suction systems).
5. Payment will be processed within 30 days of receipt of a valid tax invoice referencing this Purchase Order number (WMPA-2025-SRG-0472). Payment will be made via electronic funds transfer to the supplier's registered New Zealand bank account.
6. The Surgeon's department reserves the right to inspect all delivered goods upon arrival. Any items found to be damaged, incorrect, or non-compliant with the specifications stated in this Purchase Order will be returned at the supplier's expense.
7. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in the District Court of New Zealand Wellington.
8. The supplier acknowledges that all equipment purchased under this Purchase Order is intended for use by a qualified Surgeon in a licensed medical facility in New Zealand Wellington and must meet all applicable health and safety standards set by the Ministry of Health, New Zealand.
