The scope of work for the Systems Engineer encompasses, but is not limited to, the following deliverables:

• Design and deployment of a redundant three-node server cluster housed at the Green Point data centre in South Africa Cape Town.
• Migration of legacy on-premise applications to a hybrid cloud environment compliant with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.
• Implementation of a zero-trust network architecture across all company premises in the Cape Town metropolitan area.
• Quarterly penetration testing and vulnerability assessment of all systems managed by the Systems Engineer.
• Provision of 24/7 on-call technical support with a maximum response time of two (2) hours for critical incidents.
• Preparation of comprehensive technical documentation, runbooks, and disaster recovery plans for all infrastructure components.
• Monthly reporting to the Chief Technology Officer detailing system uptime, performance metrics, and remediation actions taken.

All amounts are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR). Prices are inclusive of all travel within the Cape Town metropolitan area. Any travel outside the City of Cape Town municipal boundary will be billed at cost with prior written approval from the purchaser.

The Systems Engineer shall commence duties on 1 July 2025 at the purchaser's office located at 142 Main Road, Green Point, South Africa Cape Town. The engagement period is twelve (12) months, subject to renewal by mutual written agreement no later than thirty (30) days prior to the expiry date. The Systems Engineer is required to be physically present at the Cape Town facility a minimum of four (4) days per week, with the remaining day allocated to remote work as agreed upon in the service-level agreement annexed to this Purchase Order.

1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the High Court of South Africa, Cape Town Division.
2. The Systems Engineer shall comply with all applicable South African legislation, including the POPIA, the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
3. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 10% per annum above the prime lending rate as published by the South African Reserve Bank.
4. The Systems Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than ZAR 5,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than ZAR 2,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order.
5. Confidentiality: The Systems Engineer shall treat all data, source code, network topologies, and business information of TechNova Solutions as strictly confidential. This obligation survives the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
6. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of material breach, the non-breaching party may terminate immediately upon written notice.
7. All intellectual property developed specifically for TechNova Solutions under this Purchase Order shall vest in the purchaser upon full payment.

This Purchase Order is issued and authorised by the undersigned representative of TechNova Solutions (Pty) Ltd. Acceptance of this Purchase Order by the supplier constitutes full agreement to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth herein. The supplier shall return a signed copy of this Purchase Order to the purchaser within five (5) business days of receipt to confirm acceptance.
