1. Description of Purchase – Systems Engineer ServicesThis Purchase Order is issued by LankaTech Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. to procure the professional services of a qualified Systems Engineer to be deployed and operational within the Sri Lanka Colombo metropolitan area. The engagement covers the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-level IT infrastructure systems for the buyer's operations in Colombo. The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for ensuring that all hardware, software, network, and cloud-based systems function in full compliance with the buyer's operational requirements and Sri Lankan regulatory standards.

The Systems Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform all duties and responsibilities at the buyer's primary office located in Sri Lanka Colombo, specifically at the Galle Road premises. The scope includes but is not limited to: designing scalable IT infrastructure; configuring and managing server environments; implementing and monitoring network security protocols; migrating legacy systems to modern cloud platforms; ensuring compliance with the Information and Communication Technology Act of Sri Lanka; and providing continuous technical oversight for all operational systems. The Systems Engineer must possess a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience, hold certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, or Cisco CCIE, and demonstrate proven expertise in enterprise environments within the Sri Lanka Colombo technology sector.
3. Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice from the supplier. The total value of this Purchase Order is LKR 9,805,800 (Nine Million Eight Hundred and Five Thousand Eight Hundred LKR), inclusive of 18% Sri Lankan Value Added Tax. Payments shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Sri Lanka.
- Delivery and Commencement: The Systems Engineer shall commence all services no later than 01 July 2025 at the buyer's office in Sri Lanka Colombo. Any delay in commencement beyond five (5) business days shall entitle the buyer to a penalty of 0.5% of the monthly contract value per day of delay.
- Performance Standards: The Systems Engineer shall adhere to all service level agreements (SLAs) as defined in the attached Statement of Work. Uptime for all managed systems shall not fall below 99.5% during the contract period. All work shall be performed in accordance with Sri Lankan labor laws and professional engineering standards.
- Intellectual Property: All documentation, designs, configurations, and deliverables produced by the Systems Engineer under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive property of LankaTech Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. upon full payment. The supplier shall not reuse, disclose, or distribute any proprietary information obtained during the engagement in Sri Lanka Colombo.
- Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all business information, system architectures, client data, and operational details shared during the execution of this Purchase Order. This obligation shall survive the termination of this agreement for a period of three (3) years.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Systems Engineer shall complete all in-progress tasks and hand over all documentation, credentials, and system access to the buyer's designated representative in Sri Lanka Colombo.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in accordance with the Arbitration Act No. 11 of 1995.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions in Sri Lanka Colombo, or acts of war, provided that the affected party notifies the other within forty-eight (48) hours.
- Warranty: The supplier warrants that the Systems Engineer shall provide services of a professional and workmanlike manner. Any defects in system configuration or implementation shall be rectified at no additional cost within fifteen (15) business days of written notice from the buyer.
- Amendments: No modification or amendment to this Purchase Order shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties. All amendments must reference the original PO number SL-CMB-2025-SE-0472.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Systems Engineer in Sri Lanka Colombo. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon execution by both authorized signatories.
