This Purchase Order is issued to procure the professional services of a qualified Telecommunication Engineer to be deployed and operational within the United Kingdom Birmingham metropolitan area. The Telecommunication Engineer shall be responsible for the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance of telecommunications infrastructure across the Buyer's network of facilities located throughout Birmingham and the surrounding West Midlands region.

The Telecommunication Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of five (5) years of demonstrable experience in telecommunications systems, including but not limited to fibre-optic network deployment, 5G small-cell installation, VoIP system configuration, microwave link alignment, and legacy copper network migration. The engineer must possess a valid UK Engineering Council (EngC) registration and hold relevant certifications from Ofcom and the Open University's Postgraduate Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering.

  1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Supplier upon countersignature by both authorised representatives. All services described herein shall be performed exclusively within the jurisdiction of United Kingdom Birmingham and the wider West Midlands county, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  2. The Telecommunication Engineer(s) assigned to this contract must comply with all applicable UK health and safety regulations, including the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974, the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and Ofcom's Code of Practice for Telecommunications Infrastructure.
  3. The Supplier shall maintain a minimum of £5,000,000 in professional indemnity insurance and £10,000,000 in public liability insurance, with the Buyer named as an additional insured party for the duration of this Purchase Order.
  4. All work performed by the Telecommunication Engineer shall adhere to BS EN 301 908 (telecommunications cabling) and BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) standards. Non-compliant work shall be rectified at the Supplier's sole cost within 48 hours of notification.
  5. The Supplier shall provide a dedicated project manager based in United Kingdom Birmingham who shall attend bi-weekly progress meetings at the Buyer's headquarters on Corporation Street, Birmingham.
  6. Payment shall be made via BACS transfer within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid VAT invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
  7. The Buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice if the Telecommunication Engineer fails to meet the agreed service-level targets for two consecutive months.
  8. All intellectual property, network schematics, and engineering documentation produced under this Purchase Order shall remain the sole property of the Buyer. The Supplier shall not reproduce or disclose such materials to third parties without prior written consent.
  9. This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Birmingham, United Kingdom.
  10. The Supplier warrants that the Telecommunication Engineer assigned to this engagement shall not be in breach of any competing contract and shall not engage in any activity that constitutes a conflict of interest with the Buyer's operations in Birmingham.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Telecommunication Engineer in United Kingdom Birmingham. This document, once executed, shall serve as the definitive record of the commercial arrangement between the parties.
