This Purchase Order is issued by GlobalBridge International Consulting Ltd. to formally engage the services of a certified Translator Interpreter for a multi-day business delegation visit to Myanmar Yangon. The Translator Interpreter shall provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation services in English, Burmese (Myanmar), and Mandarin Chinese for all official meetings, negotiations, site inspections, and client presentations conducted within the Yangon metropolitan area. The Translator Interpreter must hold a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in business and legal interpretation, possess a valid Myanmar work permit, and demonstrate fluency in all three languages at a C2 proficiency level as certified by the Myanmar Language Council.
The scope of work for the Translator Interpreter includes, but is not limited to: (a) simultaneous interpretation during plenary sessions at the Yangon International Convention Centre; (b) consecutive interpretation during bilateral meetings at the buyer's office in Kyauktada Township; (c) real-time translation of written documents, contracts, and technical specifications from English to Burmese and vice versa; (d) preparation of briefing materials and glossaries specific to the Myanmar Yangon business and regulatory environment; and (e) on-call availability for emergency interpretation requests during the engagement period.

The Translator Interpreter services shall commence on 1 July 2025 and conclude on 15 July 2025, with all activities taking place in Myanmar Yangon. The supplier shall ensure that the assigned Translator Interpreter is present at the designated location no later than thirty (30) minutes prior to the start of each scheduled session. All translated documents shall be delivered in both digital (PDF and editable Word) and hard-copy formats within forty-eight (48) hours of the original document being provided. The supplier is required to submit a weekly progress report to the buyer's procurement department every Friday by 17:00 Myanmar Standard Time.
Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in United States Dollars (USD) via wire transfer to the supplier's designated bank account in Yangon, Myanmar. The payment schedule is as follows:
- 30% Advance Payment (USD 3,780.00) – Due within five (5) business days of Purchase Order acceptance.
- 50% Progress Payment (USD 6,300.00) – Due upon completion of the first week of Translator Interpreter services in Myanmar Yangon, subject to buyer's written approval.
- 20% Final Payment (USD 2,520.00) – Due within ten (10) business days of final delivery and acceptance of all services and translated documents.
All invoices must reference Purchase Order number PO-MY-2025-04782. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Yangon, Myanmar, in accordance with the Myanmar Arbitration Law.
- The Translator Interpreter engaged under this Purchase Order shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all business information, trade secrets, and proprietary data encountered during the engagement in Myanmar Yangon. A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) shall be executed prior to the commencement of services.
- The supplier warrants that the Translator Interpreter assigned to this Purchase Order is fully qualified, properly licensed, and insured for professional interpretation and translation work in Myanmar Yangon. Any breach of this warranty shall entitle the buyer to immediate termination of this Purchase Order without penalty.
- The buyer reserves the right to modify the scope of services, adjust the schedule, or cancel this Purchase Order with a minimum of seven (7) days' written notice. In the event of cancellation, the supplier shall be compensated for services rendered up to the date of cancellation.
- The supplier shall comply with all applicable Myanmar labor laws, immigration regulations, and professional conduct standards applicable to Translator Interpreter services in Myanmar Yangon.
- Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or public health emergencies affecting Myanmar Yangon, shall relieve both parties from performance obligations during the period of such event, provided written notice is given within 48 hours.
- All intellectual property rights in translated documents and prepared materials shall vest in the buyer upon full payment. The supplier shall not reproduce, distribute, or use such materials for any other purpose without prior written consent.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Translator Interpreter in Myanmar Yangon. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the parties upon execution by both authorized signatories.
