This Purchase Order is issued to formally authorize and procure the services of a certified Translator Interpreter to be deployed and operational in Sudan Khartoum for the duration of the project period specified herein. The Translator Interpreter shall provide comprehensive linguistic support encompassing Arabic-to-English and English-to-Arabic interpretation and translation services for all official meetings, negotiations, field assessments, community engagement sessions, and written documentation produced by the Buyer's operations within the Sudan Khartoum metropolitan area and its surrounding districts.

The Translator Interpreter engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in simultaneous and consecutive interpretation, with demonstrated fluency in both Modern Standard Arabic and British English. The candidate must possess a recognized certification from an accredited translation body and must be physically resident in or willing to relocate to Sudan Khartoum for the full contract period. Prior experience working in humanitarian, development, or governmental contexts within Sudan Khartoum is strongly preferred.

Payment against this Purchase Order shall be made in three (3) equal installments of USD $5,066.67 each, payable within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice from the Supplier. The first installment is due upon confirmed commencement of the Translator Interpreter's duties in Sudan Khartoum. The second installment is due at the midpoint of the engagement period. The final installment is due upon successful completion of all deliverables and submission of the final project report. All payments shall be made via wire transfer to the Supplier's designated bank account in Sudan Khartoum. Late payments shall incur a penalty of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

5.1. This Purchase Order constitutes the entire agreement between the Buyer and the Supplier regarding the procurement of Translator Interpreter services in Sudan Khartoum and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations, or agreements.

5.2. The Translator Interpreter shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all documents, discussions, and sensitive information encountered during the course of duties in Sudan Khartoum. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) must be executed prior to the commencement of services.

5.3. The Supplier warrants that the Translator Interpreter assigned to this Purchase Order shall be fully qualified, insured, and in compliance with all applicable labor and immigration regulations in the Republic of Sudan.

5.4. The Buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice in the event of material breach, failure to meet quality standards, or force majeure conditions affecting operations in Sudan Khartoum.

5.5. All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the rules of the Sudan Arbitration Centre, seated in Khartoum.

5.6. The Translator Interpreter shall be available for a minimum of six (6) working days per week during the engagement period, with reasonable notice required for scheduling changes.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the provision of Translator Interpreter services in Sudan Khartoum. This document becomes effective upon execution by both authorized representatives.
