The University Lecturer shall deliver lectures in the subjects of Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, and Business Ethics for both Bachelor's and Master's level programs. 2 Supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research theses. The University Lecturer shall serve as a primary supervisor for a minimum of four (4) Master's theses and six (6) Bachelor's research projects during the academic year in Kathmandu. 3 Conducting examination setting, evaluation, and moderation duties for all assigned courses. Note: This Purchase Order is issued in accordance with the Financial Regulations and Procedures of Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, and the Public Procurement Act, 2064 (2007) of Nepal. All payments shall be processed through the official university accounting office located at the Kirtipur Campus, Kathmandu. The University Lecturer must submit all invoices and supporting documents to the Finance Office within the stipulated timeline. Terms and Conditions
  1. This Purchase Order is valid for the academic year 2082/83 (July 2025 through June 2026) and is specifically for the engagement of a University Lecturer at the Faculty of Management, Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal.
  2. The University Lecturer shall maintain a minimum attendance of 90% in all scheduled lectures, seminars, and departmental activities. Any absence exceeding five (5) consecutive working days must be reported in writing to the Head of Department and the Dean's Office in Kathmandu.
  3. Payment shall be made on a monthly basis via bank transfer to the account specified above. The University Lecturer must submit a monthly attendance and work-completion certificate signed by the Head of Department before processing of each monthly installment.
  4. The University Lecturer is required to comply with all academic regulations, code of conduct, and anti-plagiarism policies of Tribhuvan University as well as the higher education regulations issued by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Government of Nepal, Kathmandu.
  5. This Purchase Order does not constitute a permanent employment contract. The engagement of the University Lecturer is on a fixed-term basis and may be renewed subject to performance evaluation and availability of budget allocation for the subsequent academic year.
  6. The University Lecturer shall be responsible for all professional development, including obtaining and maintaining the requisite academic qualifications (Ph.D. or equivalent) and professional certifications as mandated by the Nepal Higher Education Quality Council (HEQC), Kathmandu.
  7. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the internal grievance mechanism of Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, and if unresolved, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court in Kathmandu, Nepal, in accordance with the Civil Procedure Code, 2074 (2017).
  8. The University reserves the right to modify the scope of services described in this Purchase Order with prior written notice of at least fourteen (14) days to the University Lecturer. Any such modification shall be documented in a supplementary Purchase Order amendment.
  9. All intellectual property, research outputs, and academic materials developed by the University Lecturer during the course of this engagement shall be the property of Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, in accordance with the university's intellectual property policy.
  10. This Purchase Order is subject to the applicable tax laws of Nepal, including Value Added Tax (VAT) at the rate of 13% and applicable withholding tax as per the Income Tax Act, 2058 (2001). The University shall deduct applicable taxes at source and remit them to the Inland Revenue Department, Kathmandu.

This Purchase Order for the engagement of the University Lecturer has been reviewed and authorized by the undersigned officials of Tribhuvan University, Kirtipur Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal. The document is issued in duplicate, with one copy retained by the university's Finance Office and one copy provided to the University Lecturer for record purposes.
