The Academic Researcher engaged under this Quotation Estimate will operate primarily from the offices located in the Osu district of Ghana Accra, with the flexibility to conduct fieldwork across the Greater Accra Region and, where necessary, in other regions of Ghana as specified by the client.

The Academic Researcher engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle in Ghana Accra:

• Conduct a comprehensive literature review encompassing peer-reviewed journals, government publications, and grey literature relevant to urbanization and migration in West Africa.
• Design and implement a mixed-methods research framework combining quantitative survey instruments (n = 800 respondents) and qualitative in-depth interviews (n = 40 participants) across five (5) districts of Ghana Accra, including Adentan, Ga West, Tema, Kasoa, and Nsawam.
• Administer, collect, and manage all primary data in compliance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana.
• Perform statistical analysis using SPSS and NVivo software, producing detailed analytical reports.
• Prepare a final research report of not less than 150 pages, including executive summary, methodology, findings, discussion, and policy recommendations.
• Present findings at a minimum of two (2) stakeholder workshops held in Ghana Accra.
• Submit a manuscript suitable for publication in a Q1 or Q2 indexed journal.

Note: All amounts in this Quotation Estimate are denominated in Ghana Cedis (GHS). The exchange rate reference at the time of issuance is 1 USD ≈ 15.20 GHS. The total in US Dollars is approximately USD 30,074.01. Any fluctuation in the exchange rate beyond 5% shall trigger a mutual review of the Quotation Estimate terms.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in four (4) installments as follows:

• 30% (GHS 137,137.50) — Due upon execution of the service agreement and commencement of the project (September 2025).
• 30% (GHS 137,137.50) — Due upon completion of fieldwork and data collection (January 2026).
• 25% (GHS 114,281.25) — Due upon submission of the draft final report (April 2026).
• 15% (GHS 68,568.75) — Due upon delivery of the final report, workshop completion, and manuscript submission (August 2026).

All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of West African Research Consultancy Ltd. at Ecobank Ghana, Osu Branch, Accra. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, the Academic Researcher rates and associated costs may be subject to revision.
2. The Academic Researcher shall maintain full professional confidentiality regarding all data, findings, and proprietary information encountered during the engagement in Ghana Accra.
3. Intellectual property rights in the final research outputs shall be jointly held by the client and the Academic Researcher, as stipulated in the separate Service Level Agreement.
4. Any scope changes or additional deliverables beyond those specified in this Quotation Estimate shall require a written amendment and a supplementary cost estimate.
5. The Academic Researcher reserves the right to decline or withdraw from the engagement with fourteen (14) days written notice, subject to a pro-rata refund of unearned fees.
6. This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Accra in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2099 (Act 627).
7. The Academic Researcher shall comply with all ethical guidelines of the Ghana National Commission for Science and Technology and Research (NCST).
