- Conduct a systematic literature review encompassing no fewer than 200 peer-reviewed sources published between 1990 and 2025, with a specific focus on Italian and Mediterranean cultural heritage scholarship.
- Perform on-site qualitative fieldwork at a minimum of twelve (12) heritage sites across Italy Naples and the surrounding provinces, including the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, the Certosa di San Martino, and the historic centre of Naples (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
- Administer semi-structured interviews with no fewer than twenty-five (25) local stakeholders, including museum curators, municipal heritage officers, and community representatives in the Naples metropolitan area.
- Compile and analyse all collected data using mixed-methods approaches, producing a final research report of no fewer than 80 pages in English and Italian.
- Deliver a presentation of findings to the Department's faculty and invited external reviewers at the University of Naples Federico II, Campus di Via Cintia.

Payment shall be structured as follows: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon completion of fieldwork and delivery of the interim report; and 30% upon final acceptance of the completed research report and presentation. All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account details provided in the accompanying invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month in accordance with Italian commercial law (Codice Civile, Art. 1284).
- This Quotation Estimate is non-binding until formally accepted in writing by the authorised representative of the University of Naples Federico II.
- All work shall be conducted in compliance with Italian data protection regulations (GDPR and D.Lgs. 196/2003) and the ethical guidelines of the Italian National Research Council (CNR).
- The Academic Researcher retains full intellectual property rights over original methodologies; however, all final reports, datasets, and publications produced under this engagement shall be jointly owned by the Researcher and the Commissioning Department.
- Any changes to the scope of work, including additional fieldwork sites beyond the twelve specified in Italy Naples, shall require a written amendment to this estimate and may result in adjusted costs.
- The project timeline is estimated at fourteen (14) weeks from the date of contract signature. Delays attributable to force majeure, institutional access restrictions, or public holidays in the Campania region shall extend the timeline proportionally.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in Naples, Italy, in accordance with the provisions of the Italian Code of Civil Procedure.
- This estimate does not include costs for third-party permissions, archival reproduction fees, or translation services beyond the bilingual report, which shall be billed separately if required.
