This Quotation Estimate is issued by Nexus Academic Research Consultancy Ltd. to formally outline the professional services to be rendered by a qualified Academic Researcher in support of the client's ongoing research programme. The engagement is specifically tailored to the academic, regulatory, and logistical environment of Nigeria Abuja, taking into account the Federal Capital Territory's unique institutional landscape, access to government archives, and proximity to key research institutions such as the National Archives, the Central Bank of Nigeria research department, and the National Bureau of Statistics.
The Academic Researcher shall perform the following duties over the stipulated engagement period:
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and systematic bibliographic analyses relevant to the client's research objectives in public policy, development economics, and governance studies.
- Design and implement primary data collection instruments, including structured questionnaires, semi-structured interview guides, and focus group discussion protocols, calibrated for the Nigerian context.
- Coordinate and execute fieldwork across the Abuja metropolitan area and up to three (3) additional local government areas within the FCT, ensuring ethical compliance with the National Health Research Ethics Committee (NHREC) guidelines.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis using SPSS, NVivo, and Stata, producing statistically rigorous findings and thematic narratives.
- Draft a minimum of two (2) peer-reviewable research papers suitable for submission to journals indexed in Scopus or Web of Science, with the client as co-author.
- Prepare a comprehensive final research report (not exceeding 120 pages) including executive summary, methodology, findings, policy recommendations, and appendices.
- Deliver a public presentation of key findings at a research seminar hosted by the client institution in Abuja.

All amounts are stated in Nigerian Naira (NGN). The above Quotation Estimate is inclusive of all professional fees, materials, and standard overheads associated with the Academic Researcher engagement in Nigeria Abuja.
Payment shall be made in three (3) tranches as follows:
- Tranche 1 (40%): NGN 4,904,150 – Due upon signing of the service agreement and submission of the approved research proposal.
- Tranche 2 (35%): NGN 4,291,131 – Due upon completion of fieldwork and submission of the interim data report.
- Tranche 3 (25%): NGN 3,065,094 – Due upon delivery of the final research report, journal articles, and completion of the dissemination seminar.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Nexus Academic Research Consultancy Ltd., Zenith Bank Plc, Abuja Branch, Account No. 1023 4567 8901. Late payments beyond fourteen (14) calendar days from the due date shall attract a penalty of 2% per month on the outstanding balance.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised to reflect changes in the Nigerian economic environment, including but not limited to exchange rate fluctuations and inflation adjustments.
- The Academic Researcher assigned to this project shall be a PhD-qualified professional with a minimum of twelve (12) years of post-doctoral research experience in the relevant discipline. The client reserves the right to review and approve the candidate's CV prior to commencement.
- All research activities shall be conducted in strict compliance with the data protection laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, the National Health Research Ethics Committee (NHREC) guidelines, and the institutional ethics policies of the client organization located in Nigeria Abuja.
- Intellectual property rights: All raw data, drafts, and final deliverables produced under this engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and the Academic Researcher. Neither party shall publish or disseminate findings without the prior written consent of the other.
- The Academic Researcher shall submit a written progress report to the client on a monthly basis, detailing activities completed, challenges encountered, and the plan for the subsequent month.
- Any scope changes, additional fieldwork locations beyond the three (3) LGAs specified, or extended timelines must be documented in a formal amendment to this Quotation Estimate and signed by both parties before execution.
- Force majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to government shutdowns, civil unrest in the FCT, or public health emergencies affecting operations in Nigeria Abuja.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through mediation in Abuja, FCT, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act (Cap A18, LFN 2004). If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to the Federal High Court, Abuja Division.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties. It serves solely as a good-faith indication of the costs and terms for the proposed Academic Researcher engagement.
