This Quotation Estimate is issued by Cape Town Talent Agency (Pty) Ltd for the professional engagement of a principal Actor for the production of a feature-length film titled "Harbour Lights", to be shot primarily in and around Cape Town, South Africa. The Actor will be engaged for a period of twelve (12) consecutive shooting days, with the principal photography scheduled to take place across multiple locations within the Western Cape province, including the V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain foothills, the Bo-Kaap heritage district, and the studios at the Cape Town Film Studios complex in Woodstock.
The Actor is required to portray the lead role of "Ethan Marais," a mid-thirties character with a complex emotional arc spanning the first and third acts of the screenplay. The role demands strong dramatic range, physical stamina for outdoor shooting conditions typical of the Cape Town climate, and the ability to perform in both English and Afrikaans dialogue sequences. The Actor must hold a valid South African work permit or be a South African citizen, and must be available for a minimum of three (3) days of pre-production rehearsals in addition to the twelve shooting days.

3.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and availability of the Actor are subject to reconfirmation and potential adjustment.
3.2 Payment terms: 50% deposit (R 349,772.50) due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the formal engagement contract. The remaining 50% balance (R 349,772.50) shall be payable within fourteen (14) days of the completion of the final shooting day.
3.3 All payments shall be made in South African Rand (ZAR) via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the agency's designated bank account: FNB, Account No. 624578901, Branch Code 250655, Account Name: Cape Town Talent Agency (Pty) Ltd.
3.4 The Actor's availability is confirmed subject to the receipt of the 50% deposit. Failure to remit the deposit within five (5) business days of acceptance will result in the release of the Actor's booking and this Quotation Estimate shall be deemed null and void.
3.5 The production company (Atlantic Productions) is responsible for all location permits, municipal clearances, and any additional logistical requirements specific to filming in Cape Town, South Africa. The agency's responsibility is limited to the Actor's professional performance, availability, and the services itemised in Section 2 above.
3.6 In the event of weather-related delays (common in the Cape Town winter months of June and July), the contingency allowance in line item 08 shall be utilised. Any delays exceeding the two-day contingency will be billed at the standard daily rate with prior written approval from the client.
3.7 The Actor shall be bound by a strict non-disclosure agreement (NDA) regarding the content of the production, the script, and all behind-the-scenes activities. Breach of the NDA shall result in immediate termination and a penalty of R 500,000.00.
3.8 This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal Actor Engagement Agreement, incorporating all terms herein, must be executed by both parties prior to the commencement of any work.
3.9 All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent engagement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cape Town, Western Cape.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate for Actor services in South Africa Cape Town and agrees to the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined herein. This acceptance authorises Cape Town Talent Agency (Pty) Ltd to proceed with the booking and preparation of the Actor for the engagement described.
