This Quotation Estimate is issued by Stratosphere Aerospace Consulting Pty Ltd to provide Meridian Defence & Aviation Group with a comprehensive, itemised cost breakdown for the engagement of a senior Aerospace Engineer to deliver structural analysis, aerodynamic optimisation, and systems integration support for the MDAG-BNE-AER-2025-019 programme. All services described herein will be performed in and around Australia Brisbane, specifically at the client's facilities located in the Brisbane CBD and the adjacent Maroochydore test range. This Quotation Estimate reflects current Australian market rates for specialised aerospace engineering consultancy as of June 2025 and is subject to the terms and conditions outlined in Section 6.
The Aerospace Engineer engaged under this estimate will hold a minimum of fifteen (15) years of post-qualification experience in fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft design, be a registered professional engineer with Engineers Australia, and possess a valid security clearance at the Protective (PP) level or above, as required for work within the Australia Brisbane defence corridor. The engineer will report directly to the client's Chief Technical Officer and will be embedded within the Brisbane-based project team for the duration of the engagement.

This Quotation Estimate assumes that the client will provide all necessary test articles, raw material samples, and existing design documentation at the Brisbane facility prior to the commencement of each work package. The Aerospace Engineer will not be responsible for the procurement of physical test specimens, the operation of the wind tunnel at Maroochydore, or any third-party certification fees levied by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) of Australia. Should the scope of work expand beyond the parameters defined in this Quotation Estimate, a formal variation order will be issued at the same hourly rates specified above. All work will be conducted in compliance with Australian Standards AS 3912 (Aerospace Structures) and applicable CASA regulations.
Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three (3) equal instalments: 30% upon execution of the contract, 40% upon completion of work packages 01 through 04, and the remaining 30% upon final delivery of all engineering reports and certification documentation. Invoices will be issued monthly from the Brisbane office and are payable within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date via bank transfer to the account details provided on each invoice. Late payments will attract interest at the rate prescribed under the Australian Consumer Law.
The Aerospace Engineer will commence work on 1 July 2025 at the client's Brisbane premises. The full programme, encompassing all eight line items in this Quotation Estimate, is projected for completion by 30 November 2025, subject to availability of test range slots at Maroochydore and timely provision of input data by the client. A detailed Gantt chart and milestone schedule will be provided within five (5) business days of contract execution.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability must be reconfirmed in writing.
- All intellectual property generated by the Aerospace Engineer during the course of this engagement shall vest in the client upon full payment, except for pre-existing methodologies and proprietary software tools of Stratosphere Aerospace Consulting Pty Ltd.
- The Aerospace Engineer is bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) covering all technical data, design drawings, and operational parameters encountered during work in Australia Brisbane.
- Stratosphere Aerospace Consulting Pty Ltd carries Professional Indemnity Insurance of no less than AUD $10,000,000 and Public Liability Insurance of AUD $20,000,000, as is standard practice for aerospace engineering firms operating in Australia.
- Any dispute arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved under the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brisbane.
- The client acknowledges that the Aerospace Engineer is engaged as an independent contractor and not as an employee of the client.
By signing below, the client confirms acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and authorises Stratosphere Aerospace Consulting Pty Ltd to commence the engagement of the Aerospace Engineer as described herein. This acceptance constitutes a binding agreement under the laws of Queensland, Australia.
