Scope of Work – Aerospace Engineer Services
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Pacific Aerospace Engineering Solutions Inc. to provide comprehensive Aerospace Engineer professional services to NorthStar Avionics Group Ltd. All work will be performed in and around Canada Vancouver, in full compliance with Transport Canada regulations, the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), and applicable British Columbia provincial labour and safety standards. The Aerospace Engineer assigned to this engagement will hold a P.Eng. designation from Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) and will possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in aerospace structural design, aerodynamic analysis, propulsion systems, and flight control integration.
The scope encompasses the following deliverables: preliminary and detailed structural design of composite airframe components; computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation and aerodynamic optimisation; propulsion system performance modelling; fatigue and damage-tolerance analysis; compliance verification against CS-25 and CS-29 airworthiness standards; and preparation of technical documentation for submission to Transport Canada's Directorate of Airworthiness. All deliverables will be produced in accordance with the client's quality management system and the ISO 9001:2015 framework.

Terms & Conditions
1. Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and availability of the Aerospace Engineer resources are subject to reconfirmation.
2. Payment Terms: 30% advance payment upon execution of the contract; 40% upon completion of the mid-project design review milestone; 30% upon final delivery and acceptance of all Aerospace Engineer deliverables. Invoices are payable within thirty (30) days of receipt. Late payments shall accrue interest at 1.5% per month as permitted under the British Columbia Interest Act.
3. Currency & Tax: All amounts in this Quotation Estimate are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the applicable British Columbia rate of 5% is included. No Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) applies as the work is performed in Canada Vancouver, BC.
4. Intellectual Property: All designs, analyses, reports, and documentation produced by the Aerospace Engineer team under this engagement shall become the sole property of the client upon full payment. The contractor retains the right to use general methodologies and non-client-specific knowledge for future engagements.
5. Confidentiality: Both parties agree to maintain strict confidentiality of all proprietary data, design specifications, and business information exchanged during the course of this project, in accordance with the Canadian Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable BC privacy legislation.
6. Insurance & Liability: The contractor shall maintain professional liability (errors and omissions) insurance with a minimum coverage of CAD $5,000,000 per occurrence, and workers' compensation insurance as required by the Workers' Compensation Board of British Columbia (WCBBC).
7. Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Vancouver, BC, under the rules of the British Columbia Arbitration Institute.
8. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulatory changes by Transport Canada, or public health emergencies affecting operations in Canada Vancouver.
Important Note: This Quotation Estimate is a non-binding estimate of costs and does not constitute a formal contract until a written agreement is executed by both parties. The final scope, schedule, and pricing may be adjusted by mutual written consent.
