2. Scope of Work – Aerospace Engineer Services

This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Aerospace Consulting Ltd. to provide comprehensive professional services delivered by a certified Aerospace Engineer for the design, analysis, and certification support of an autonomous aerial inspection platform. All engineering work will be conducted in accordance with the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand (CAA NZ) regulations, the New Zealand Standard NZS 4303, and applicable international aerospace engineering standards including AS9100 and ISO 9001. The Aerospace Engineer assigned to this project holds a BEng (Aerospace) from the University of Auckland and a Postgraduate Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of New South Wales, with over twelve years of practical experience in fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft systems design within the New Zealand Auckland region.

The scope of this engagement covers the full lifecycle of the project, from initial feasibility studies and conceptual design through to detailed engineering, prototype fabrication oversight, flight testing support, and final airworthiness documentation. The Aerospace Engineer will coordinate directly with the client's project management team based in New Zealand Auckland and will conduct all on-site inspections at the client's facility in Manukau as well as at the Auckland Regional Airport test range.

4. Payment Terms

This Quotation Estimate is structured with the following payment milestones to align with project deliverables:

  • 25% deposit (NZD 28,313.00) – Due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and execution of the service agreement.
  • 35% progress payment (NZD 39,638.20) – Due upon completion of detailed engineering design and CFD deliverables (Items 02–04).
  • 25% progress payment (NZD 28,313.00) – Due upon completion of prototype fabrication oversight and flight test programme (Items 05–06).
  • 15% final payment (NZD 16,987.80) – Due upon delivery of final airworthiness documentation and project close-out report (Items 07–08).

All payments are to be made via bank transfer to Meridian Aerospace Consulting Ltd., Bank: ANZ New Zealand, Account Name: Meridian Aerospace Consulting Ltd., Account No. 01-0428-776512-003, Branch Code 01-0428. Invoices will be issued in accordance with New Zealand tax law and will include the applicable 15% Goods and Services Tax (GST).

5. Terms and Conditions
  1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on market conditions and resource availability in New Zealand Auckland.
  2. All engineering services will be performed by a qualified Aerospace Engineer registered with Engineers New Zealand (ENZ) and holding a valid Practising Certificate in the Aerospace discipline.
  3. The Aerospace Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of NZD 5,000,000 per claim throughout the duration of the engagement.
  4. Intellectual property generated specifically for the client under this Quotation Estimate shall vest in the client upon full payment. Pre-existing methodologies, templates, and tools of the Aerospace Engineer remain the property of Meridian Aerospace Consulting Ltd.
  5. Any variation to the scope of work must be agreed in writing by both parties prior to commencement of additional work. Variations exceeding 10% of the original Quotation Estimate value will require a revised Quotation Estimate.
  6. Confidentiality: All project data, design documents, and technical information shared in connection with this engagement are subject to a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to be executed concurrently with the service agreement.
  7. This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising shall be resolved through the New Zealand Dispute Resolution Service or, failing that, the District Court of Auckland.
  8. Force majeure events, including but not limited to severe weather conditions affecting flight testing in New Zealand Auckland, shall extend project timelines on a day-for-day basis without penalty to either party.
  9. The Aerospace Engineer reserves the right to decline work that conflicts with CAA NZ safety regulations or that poses an unacceptable risk to public safety.
6. Acceptance and Authorisation

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, conditions, and pricing set out in this Quotation Estimate for Aerospace Engineer services to be delivered in New Zealand Auckland. This signature constitutes a binding agreement for the services described herein.
