1. Scope of Services – Aerospace Engineer ConsultancyThis Quotation Estimate is issued by Altitude Aerospace Consulting (Pty) Ltd to TransCape Aeronautics Holdings (Pty) Ltd for the provision of specialised Aerospace Engineer consultancy services based in South Africa Cape Town. The scope encompasses the full lifecycle of structural design, finite element analysis (FEA), materials selection, and regulatory compliance support for a medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) platform. All engineering deliverables will be produced in accordance with SACAA Part 21 and applicable SANS standards, ensuring that the Aerospace Engineer team operates within the legal and technical framework governing aviation in South Africa.

Payment shall be made in monthly instalments aligned to the project phase milestones. A 30% mobilisation deposit is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. Remaining balances are invoiced on the 25th of each month for services rendered in the preceding calendar month. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank account detailed on each invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the South African Reserve Bank prime rate plus 2% per annum.
4. Terms and Conditions- This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiry, all rates and availability of the Aerospace Engineer team must be reconfirmed in writing.
- All engineering work will be performed by qualified Aerospace Engineer professionals registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) and holding valid professional engineering (Pr. Eng.) or professional technologist (Pr. Tech.) designations.
- The project base of operations is South Africa Cape Town, specifically the Tyger Valley Business Park facility. Client access to the engineering office is available Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00 SAST.
- Intellectual property (IP) generated under this engagement shall be jointly owned by both parties unless otherwise agreed in a separate IP assignment agreement. All SACAA submission documents remain the property of the client.
- Confidentiality: All technical data, design drawings, and test results are subject to a mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to be executed prior to commencement of work.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government sanctions, or aviation regulatory moratoriums in South Africa.
- Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Cape Town, Western Cape, in accordance with the Arbitration Act 42 of 1965 (South Africa).
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with 60 days written notice. In such an event, all work completed to date shall be invoiced and settled within 30 days.
- Compliance: All services shall comply with the South African Occupational Health and Safety Act 85 of 1993, the Civil Aviation Act 21 of 1982, and applicable SANS/ISO standards.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Aerospace Engineer services to be delivered in South Africa Cape Town. This signature constitutes a binding agreement subject to the terms and conditions outlined herein.
