This Quotation Estimate is issued by Celestial Sciences International Ltd. in response to the formal request from the Beijing National Astronomical Observatories for the professional engagement of a Senior Astronomer to support the Deep-Sky Survey Programme currently being conducted in China Beijing. The proposed Astronomer engagement in China Beijing encompasses the following deliverables and responsibilities:

  • Research Leadership: The Astronomer shall serve as Principal Investigator for the multi-wavelength deep-sky survey, overseeing observational campaigns conducted from the 2.16-metre telescope facility located in the Beijing metropolitan region.
  • Data Analysis & Modelling: Full-spectrum photometric and spectroscopic data reduction, astrometric calibration, and cosmological parameter estimation using the observatory's proprietary computing cluster in China Beijing.
  • Instrumentation Oversight: Routine maintenance, alignment verification, and performance optimisation of the CCD detector arrays and adaptive optics systems housed at the Beijing facility.
  • Collaborative Research: Participation in joint publications with the Chinese Academy of Sciences research teams, including co-authorship on a minimum of three peer-reviewed articles per annum.
  • Academic Mentorship: Supervision of up to four (4) doctoral and six (6) master's students enrolled in the astronomy programme at the Beijing campus.
  • Public Outreach: Delivery of a minimum of four (4) public lectures per year at the Beijing Science Museum and affiliated educational institutions across the China Beijing municipality.

Payment for this Quotation Estimate shall be structured as follows: a mobilisation payment of thirty percent (30%) due within fourteen (14) business days of contract execution; a mid-term payment of forty percent (40%) due upon completion of the sixth (6th) month of the Astronomer's engagement in China Beijing; and a final payment of thirty percent (30%) due upon successful completion of the twelfth (12th) month and delivery of all agreed deliverables. All payments shall be made via wire transfer to the designated account of Celestial Sciences International Ltd. in accordance with the foreign exchange regulations of the People's Bank of China.

This Quotation Estimate is subject to the following conditions: (a) The Astronomer's engagement is contingent upon successful completion of all visa and work-permit procedures required for foreign professionals operating in China Beijing; (b) Any change in scope exceeding ten percent (10%) of the total quoted value shall require a formal amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties; (c) Intellectual property generated during the engagement shall be jointly owned by Celestial Sciences International Ltd. and the Beijing National Astronomical Observatories, with publication rights governed by a separate IP agreement; (d) The Astronomer shall comply with all applicable data-security and export-control regulations of the People's Republic of China; (e) Early termination by either party requires a written notice period of sixty (60) days, with pro-rata settlement of all incurred costs.
