This Quotation Estimate is formally submitted by Stellar Sciences & Research Consultancy Ltd. in response to the request for the professional engagement of a qualified Astronomer to carry out advanced observational and theoretical research activities at the designated research facility located in Nigeria Abuja. The scope of this engagement encompasses a comprehensive programme of celestial observation, data analysis, spectroscopic surveys, and academic collaboration over a period of twelve (12) months. The Astronomer to be deployed under this Quotation Estimate shall possess a minimum of a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Astronomy or Astrophysics from an internationally accredited institution, with a minimum of eight (8) years of post-doctoral research experience. The candidate shall be responsible for the following duties while stationed in Nigeria Abuja:
- Conducting systematic optical and radio observations of celestial objects using the 1.2-metre telescope and associated instrumentation at the Abuja Observatory Station.
- Performing high-resolution spectroscopic analysis of stellar and extragalactic targets to determine chemical abundances, radial velocities, and redshift measurements.
- Developing and maintaining computational models for stellar evolution, galactic dynamics, and cosmological parameter estimation.
- Supervising and mentoring a team of four (4) junior research associates and two (2) graduate students based at the Nigeria Abuja research campus.
- Authoring and co-authoring a minimum of three (3) peer-reviewed publications in internationally recognised journals during the contract period.
- Delivering quarterly progress reports to the client's research board and presenting findings at the annual Nigeria Abuja Astronomical Symposium.
- Collaborating with the National Meteorological Agency in Abuja on atmospheric transparency studies relevant to ground-based astronomical observations.

All amounts are stated in Nigerian Naira (NGN). The total is equivalent to approximately USD 74,200 at the prevailing Central Bank of Nigeria exchange rate as of the date of this Quotation Estimate.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period shall be subject to re-evaluation of costs, particularly with regard to exchange rate fluctuations and accommodation pricing in Nigeria Abuja.
- Payment shall be structured as follows: 30% upon contract execution, 40% at the six-month milestone, and 30% upon successful completion of the final deliverables and submission of the end-of-contract report.
- The Astronomer shall be required to maintain a minimum of 90% attendance at the Nigeria Abuja research facility. Any absence exceeding five (5) consecutive working days must be pre-approved in writing by the client's Director of Research.
- All data, publications, and intellectual property generated during the course of this engagement shall be jointly owned by the client and the Astronomer, with the client retaining primary rights for government and institutional use.
- Stellar Sciences & Research Consultancy Ltd. shall provide a replacement Astronomer of equivalent or superior qualification within fourteen (14) days should the originally assigned candidate become unavailable for any reason.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal service agreement is executed by both parties in accordance with the Public Procurement Act of Nigeria (2007, as amended).
- Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Nigeria Abuja in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, Cap A18, Laws of the Federation of Nigeria.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and confirms that the scope, costs, and terms outlined herein are acceptable for the engagement of the Astronomer at the Nigeria Abuja research facility.
