This Quotation Estimate is issued in response to the formal request received from the Observatorio Astronómico de Valencia for the recruitment, placement, and ongoing professional engagement of a senior Astronomer to support the observatory’s research programmes, public outreach initiatives, and academic teaching obligations within the Spain Valencia region. All professional activities will be carried out primarily in Spain Valencia, with occasional travel to partner facilities in other Spanish autonomous communities as required by collaborative research grants.

3.1 Validity. This Quotation Estimate remains valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Should the client require a revised estimate beyond this period, all figures shall be re-evaluated against current Spain Valencia labour-market rates and institutional fee schedules.
3.2 Payment Schedule. Invoices will be issued monthly in arrears. The recruitment and screening fees (Items 01 and 02) are payable within fifteen (15) business days of successful candidate placement. Salary, social security, and recurring operational costs (Items 03–10) are payable on the last working day of each calendar month.
3.3 Scope Limitations. This Quotation Estimate covers the engagement of one (1) Astronomer for a single twelve-month period. Any extension, additional personnel, or expansion of research scope beyond the parameters described herein will require a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued by Iberian Scientific Staffing S.L.
3.4 Applicable Law. All contractual obligations arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be governed by the labour and commercial laws of the Kingdom of Spain, with specific reference to the regional employment regulations applicable in the Spain Valencia autonomous community. Disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts of Valencia.
3.5 Confidentiality. Both parties agree to treat all technical data, research findings, and personnel information exchanged in connection with this Quotation Estimate as strictly confidential, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish organic data-protection legislation.
3.6 Force Majeure. Neither party shall be held liable for delays or non-performance resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather affecting Spain Valencia astronomical observing conditions, government-mandated closures, or natural disasters.
Note: The Astronomer candidate proposed under this Quotation Estimate must hold a minimum of a PhD in Astronomy or Astrophysics, possess at least five (5) years of post-doctoral research experience, and demonstrate proficiency in both Spanish and English. The candidate must be legally eligible to work in Spain Valencia and the broader Spanish territory. All candidates will undergo a full background check in compliance with Spanish employment law prior to contract execution.By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorises Iberian Scientific Staffing S.L. to proceed with the recruitment and onboarding of the Astronomer as described herein. This signature does not constitute a binding employment contract; a separate employment agreement will be executed between the Observatorio Astronómico de Valencia and the appointed Astronomer upon successful completion of the screening process.
