This Quotation Estimate is issued by Dr. Eleanor Whitmore, a practising Astronomer based in the United Kingdom London area, in response to the formal request for professional astronomical consulting, observational research, and public education services. The scope of work encompasses a twelve-month engagement covering the following deliverables, all to be conducted within the United Kingdom London metropolitan region and its immediate surroundings:

Delivering a minimum of twelve (12) public astronomy lectures and guided telescope observation sessions at venues across United Kingdom London, including the Royal Observatory Greenwich, the Science Museum, and the Natural History Museum.
Producing a peer-reviewed technical report documenting all observational data collected during the engagement period, with particular focus on light-pollution impact assessments relevant to the United Kingdom London urban environment.
Supervising and mentoring a team of four (4) junior research assistants in observational astronomy techniques and data reduction methodologies.

All prices are quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). VAT is applied at the standard United Kingdom rate of 20%. This Quotation Estimate assumes standard business hours; any Astronomer services required outside of normal working hours or on public holidays in the United Kingdom London area will be subject to a 50% surcharge.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in three (3) equal instalments: 40% upon execution of the contract, 30% at the six-month milestone, and the remaining 30% upon final delivery of the technical report and completion of all public engagement sessions. All payments are to be made by direct bank transfer to the Astronomer's designated business account within fourteen (14) calendar days of invoice issuance. Late payments will incur interest at the rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 applicable in the United Kingdom.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After this period, all rates and availability must be reconfirmed in writing by the Astronomer.
All observational data, reports, and intellectual property generated under this engagement shall remain the property of the client, United Kingdom London entity, upon full payment, subject to the Astronomer's right to publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
The Astronomer reserves the right to reschedule any public engagement session in United Kingdom London due to adverse weather conditions, equipment failure, or force majeure events, with no additional charge to the client.
This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed a formal service agreement incorporating these terms.
All services shall be performed in full compliance with United Kingdom data protection legislation (UK GDPR) and the Royal Astronomical Society's code of professional conduct.
Any changes to the scope of work beyond the parameters described herein must be agreed in writing and may result in a revised Quotation Estimate.
Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent contract shall be resolved under the laws of England and Wales, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of United Kingdom London.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms and conditions set forth herein. The Astronomer confirms availability to commence work within twenty-one (21) days of contract execution.
