This Quotation Estimate is issued by Hauraki Automotive Engineering Ltd. to provide comprehensive Automotive Engineer consultancy and technical services to Northland Vehicle Solutions Pty Ltd. All work will be conducted within the Auckland region of New Zealand, in compliance with the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) standards, the Land Transport Rule: Vehicle Standards 1999, and all applicable local bylaws of the Auckland Council. The scope encompasses design review, performance analysis, emissions compliance testing, and structural integrity assessment for a fleet of 45 commercial vehicles currently registered in Auckland.

3.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, Hauraki Automotive Engineering Ltd. reserves the right to revise pricing due to fluctuations in material costs, labour rates, or changes in New Zealand regulatory requirements applicable to automotive engineering in Auckland.
3.2 All rates quoted are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and are inclusive of the Automotive Engineer's professional time, specialist diagnostic equipment, and standard workshop consumables. Any work outside the defined scope in Section 1 will be subject to a separate variation order and additional Quotation Estimate.
3.3 Payment terms: 40% deposit due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% due upon completion of on-site assessment and emissions testing; 20% balance due upon delivery of the final compliance report and NZTA submission. All invoices are payable within fourteen (14) days of issue in accordance with the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
3.4 The Automotive Engineer assigned to this project holds a BEng (Mechanical) from the University of Auckland and is a registered Professional Engineer (PrEng) with Engineers New Zealand. All work will be performed in accordance with the Code of Ethics of Engineers New Zealand.
3.5 Hauraki Automotive Engineering Ltd. carries a minimum of $10,000,000 in professional indemnity insurance and $20,000,000 in public liability insurance, both valid throughout the Auckland region and the wider New Zealand territory.
3.6 This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a contract until signed and countersigned by both parties. Upon acceptance, a formal Service Agreement will be executed within five (5) business days.
3.7 All intellectual property, including CAD files, engineering calculations, and technical reports produced by the Automotive Engineer during this engagement, shall remain the property of Hauraki Automotive Engineering Ltd. unless otherwise agreed in writing. The client receives a non-exclusive licence to use the deliverables for the specific vehicles covered by this Quotation Estimate.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Automotive Engineer services to be delivered in Auckland, New Zealand, in full accordance with the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined above.
