3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate issued by Baker is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be adjusted to reflect changes in ingredient costs, labor rates, or availability within the Houston, United States market.
3.2 Payment Schedule: A non-refundable deposit of 50% ($3,258.06) is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate to secure the event date. The remaining balance of 50% ($3,258.05) is due no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event date. All payments are to be made to Baker Professional Baking & Pastry Services, Houston, United States, via check, bank transfer, or approved credit card.
3.3 Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event date will receive a full refund of the deposit less a $200 administrative fee. Cancellations between 30 and 14 days will forfeit 50% of the deposit. Cancellations within 14 days of the event date will forfeit the full deposit. Baker reserves the right to reschedule if force majeure conditions affect operations in Houston, United States.
3.4 Dietary Accommodations: Baker will accommodate reasonable dietary restrictions (gluten-free, nut-free, dairy-free) at no additional charge for up to 20% of the total guest count. Specialized allergen-free items beyond this threshold will be quoted separately.
3.5 Liability: Baker Professional Baking & Pastry Services shall not be liable for damages caused by improper storage or handling of baked goods by the client or venue staff after delivery to the Houston, United States event location. All products are prepared in compliance with Texas Department of State Health Services food safety regulations.
3.6 Intellectual Property: All cake designs, pastry presentations, and branding elements created by Baker for this engagement remain the intellectual property of Baker. Photography of the final products for Baker's portfolio is permitted unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.7 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, with jurisdiction in Harris County, Houston, Texas.
