This Quotation Estimate is formally submitted by EthioBio Scientific Consultancy PLC to provide the client with a detailed and transparent cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Biologist and supporting field team to conduct a comprehensive biodiversity assessment across the Ethiopia Addis Ababa metropolitan region. This Quotation Estimate covers all professional services, laboratory analyses, field equipment, transportation within Ethiopia Addis Ababa, and final reporting deliverables. The scope of work has been designed in strict compliance with the Ethiopian Environmental Impact Assessment Proclamation (Proclamation No. 299/2002) and the directives issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Change in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.

The primary Biologist assigned to this project will hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Ecology or a related biological science, with no fewer than eight (8) years of documented field experience in the Ethiopian highland ecosystems. The Biologist will be responsible for designing the sampling methodology, leading all field surveys, supervising junior field assistants, and authoring the final scientific report. All fieldwork will be conducted within the administrative boundaries of Ethiopia Addis Ababa, including the Entoto Forest Reserve, the Megenagna wetland area, the Awash River tributaries within the city limits, and the agricultural buffer zones surrounding the Ethiopia Addis Ababa urban perimeter.

4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and the overall Quotation Estimate total are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.

4.2 Payment Schedule: 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate; 40% upon completion of all fieldwork in Ethiopia Addis Ababa; and 30% upon delivery and acceptance of the final report by the client.

4.3 Biologist Availability: The assigned Biologist shall be available on-site in Ethiopia Addis Ababa for a minimum of five (5) working days per week throughout the project duration. Any substitution of the lead Biologist requires prior written consent from the client.

4.4 Permits & Compliance: All necessary research permits, access clearances, and environmental compliance documentation required by the relevant Ethiopia Addis Ababa municipal and federal authorities shall be obtained and maintained by EthioBio Scientific Consultancy PLC at no additional cost to the client.

4.5 Intellectual Property: All data, reports, and findings generated under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. The Biologist and supporting team retain the right to reference the project in academic publications with prior client approval.

4.6 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions affecting fieldwork in Ethiopia Addis Ababa, government-mandated closures, or public health emergencies.

4.7 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution within thirty (30) days, the matter shall be referred to the competent courts in Ethiopia Addis Ababa in accordance with Ethiopian commercial law.

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate in full, including all terms, conditions, and the scope of Biologist services described herein for execution in Ethiopia Addis Ababa.
