Thank you for your request for a professional Biologist engagement to support the environmental monitoring programme at the Port of Marseille. This Quotation Estimate outlines the full scope of services, associated costs, and terms under which ProBio Sciences SARL will deploy a qualified Biologist to conduct field assessments, laboratory analyses, and regulatory reporting within the France Marseille metropolitan area and its surrounding coastal waters.

The Biologist assigned to this project will hold a Doctorate in Marine and Environmental Biology, possess a minimum of ten years of professional experience in French coastal ecosystems, and be fully registered with the French National Council of Biologists (Conseil National des Biologistes). All fieldwork will be conducted in compliance with the French Environmental Code (Code de l'Environnement) and the directives of the Regional Directorate for the Environment, Development and Housing (DREAL PACA) in France Marseille.

The scope encompasses the following deliverables:

Quarterly benthic and pelagic biodiversity surveys across 12 designated sampling stations in the Marseille harbour basin and the Calanques National Park perimeter.
Water quality biomonitoring using standardized macroinvertebrate and diatom indices, performed by the Biologist in accordance with ISO 14001 and French AFNOR protocols.
Preparation of a comprehensive annual ecological impact report, including species identification, population trend analysis, and risk assessment for protected species under the EU Habitats Directive as transposed into French law.
Two on-site consultation sessions per quarter with the client's environmental compliance team, held at the Port de Marseille Méditerranée headquarters.
Emergency response support for any acute ecological incident (e.g., oil spill, algal bloom) within a 48-hour mobilisation window in the France Marseille region.

This Quotation Estimate is structured for payment in four equal quarterly instalments of €27,834.00 (inclusive of 20% French VAT). The first instalment is due within 30 days of the contract signature date. Subsequent instalments are invoiced at the end of each calendar quarter. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed by Article L441-10 of the French Commercial Code. Payment shall be made by bank transfer to ProBio Sciences SARL, BNP Paribas, IBAN: FR76 3000 4000 0000 0000 0000 000, BIC: BNPAFRPPXXX.

4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be revised to reflect changes in material costs, regulatory requirements, or market conditions in the France Marseille region.

4.2 Biologist Availability: ProBio Sciences SARL guarantees the assignment of a dedicated Biologist for the full contract duration. In the event of illness or force majeure, a substitute Biologist of equivalent or superior qualifications will be provided within five (5) business days, subject to client approval.

4.3 Intellectual Property: All data, reports, and findings generated by the Biologist under this engagement shall become the exclusive property of the client upon full payment. ProBio Sciences SARL retains the right to anonymised aggregate data for academic publication, subject to prior written consent from the client.

4.4 Health, Safety & Environment: The Biologist and all support personnel shall comply with the French occupational health and safety regulations (Code du Travail) and the specific site safety protocols of the Port de Marseille Méditerranée. All fieldwork in the Calanques National Park shall be conducted under the permits issued by the Office National des Forêts (ONF).

4.5 Insurance: ProBio Sciences SARL maintains professional liability insurance (RC Pro) with a coverage of €5,000,000 per claim and €10,000,000 in aggregate, as well as employer's liability insurance in full compliance with French statutory requirements.

4.6 Termination: Either party may terminate this agreement with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the client shall be invoiced for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination, as detailed in this Quotation Estimate.

4.7 Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the French Republic. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunal de Commerce de Marseille.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept the terms, conditions, and pricing set forth in this Quotation Estimate for the Biologist services to be delivered in France Marseille.
