1. Purpose and Scope of This Quotation EstimateThis Quotation Estimate is issued by MedTech Solutions GmbH to provide a comprehensive and transparent cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Biomedical Engineer to support the medical technology division at Frankfurt University Hospital. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, calibration, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices within the clinical facilities located in Germany Frankfurt. This document serves as a formal Quotation Estimate and does not constitute a binding contract until both parties have executed the final service agreement.
2. Scope of Services – Biomedical Engineer RoleThe Biomedical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate will perform the following duties within the Germany Frankfurt medical infrastructure:
- Installation, commissioning, and routine preventive maintenance of imaging systems (MRI, CT, X-ray), patient monitoring equipment, and surgical devices.
- Conducting risk assessments and ensuring full compliance with the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745) and German national standards (MDD, DIN EN 62353).
- Managing the medical device lifecycle including procurement recommendations, software updates, firmware upgrades, and decommissioning procedures.
- Providing technical training to clinical staff on the safe and effective operation of biomedical equipment.
- Maintaining detailed service logs, calibration certificates, and regulatory documentation in accordance with the requirements of the German Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices (BfArM).
- Responding to emergency breakdowns within a guaranteed 4-hour on-site response time across all Germany Frankfurt hospital sites.
- Collaborating with hospital IT departments to ensure network integration and cybersecurity compliance for connected biomedical devices.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made via bank transfer to the account of MedTech Solutions GmbH. Invoices will be issued on a monthly basis, payable within 30 days of the invoice date. A 5% late payment interest surcharge will apply to overdue balances in accordance with German commercial law (HGB § 288). The client may request a 10% advance payment for the initial setup and onboarding phase of the Biomedical Engineer engagement.
5. Terms and Conditions- This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of 90 days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on market conditions in Germany Frankfurt.
- All services will be performed in strict compliance with German labor law, data protection regulations (GDPR), and the specific requirements of the German hospital accreditation body (DKG).
- The Biomedical Engineer will be subject to a background check and must hold a valid professional license recognized by the relevant German state authority (Landesärztekammer or equivalent engineering chamber).
- Confidentiality: All patient data, hospital protocols, and proprietary medical device information accessed during the engagement are bound by strict non-disclosure obligations under German law.
- Liability: MedTech Solutions GmbH shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of €5,000,000 for the duration of the contract.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with 60 days written notice. In the event of early termination, a pro-rata charge for services rendered up to the termination date will apply.
- Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, with jurisdiction vested in the courts of Frankfurt am Main.
- This Quotation Estimate does not include the cost of replacement parts, major equipment upgrades, or services outside the defined scope. Additional work will be quoted separately in writing.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes MedTech Solutions GmbH to proceed with the engagement of the Biomedical Engineer as described herein. This signature does not constitute a final contract but confirms the client's intent to proceed to the formal service agreement stage.
