Dear Ing. Hernández,

Thank you for the opportunity to submit this Quotation Estimate for the professional services of a Biomedical Engineer to support the clinical engineering department of your esteemed institution located in Mexico Mexico City. We are pleased to present the following detailed scope of work, pricing, and terms for your review and consideration.

This Quotation Estimate covers the provision of a qualified Biomedical Engineer with a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in hospital equipment management, regulatory compliance under COFEPRIS standards, and biomedical instrumentation. The Biomedical Engineer will be assigned on-site at the client's facility in Mexico Mexico City for a period of twelve (12) months, renewable by mutual agreement.

The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of all medical devices and clinical equipment across all hospital wards and departments in Mexico Mexico City.
  • Calibration and verification of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment in accordance with NOM-240-SSA1-2012 and applicable Mexican regulatory standards.
  • Management of the biomedical asset inventory, including lifecycle tracking, risk assessment, and capital planning recommendations.
  • Coordination with COFEPRIS and local health authorities in Mexico Mexico City regarding device registration, import permits, and compliance audits.
  • Training of clinical staff on proper operation, basic troubleshooting, and safety protocols for medical equipment.
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly technical reports for hospital administration.
  • Emergency response to critical equipment failures within a guaranteed four (4) hour turnaround time.

3.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are quoted in Mexican Pesos (MXN) and are subject to revision upon expiration.

3.2 Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in monthly installments of $195,411.67 MXN (including IVA), due within fifteen (15) business days from the date of invoice issuance. A 10% advance payment is required prior to commencement of services.

3.3 Commencement: Services shall commence within ten (10) business days of receipt of signed acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and the initial advance payment.

3.4 Personnel: The Biomedical Engineer assigned shall hold a valid professional license (cédula profesional) registered with the Colegio de Ingenieros Biomédicos de México and shall comply with all labor regulations applicable in Mexico Mexico City.

3.5 Confidentiality: All patient data, hospital protocols, and proprietary information encountered during the engagement shall be treated as strictly confidential in accordance with the Ley General de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de Sujetos Obligados.

3.6 Liability and Insurance: MedTech Solutions de México, S.A. de C.V. shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $5,000,000 MXN for the duration of the contract. The Biomedical Engineer shall operate under the supervision and protocols established by the client's clinical engineering department.

3.7 Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, all services rendered up to the termination date shall be invoiced in full.

3.8 Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the commercial laws of the United Mexican States, with jurisdiction in the courts of Mexico Mexico City.

3.9 Taxes: All amounts are exclusive of IVA (16%) unless otherwise stated. The client shall be responsible for any additional tax obligations arising from this engagement as per Mexican fiscal law.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt and acceptance of this Quotation Estimate for the Biomedical Engineer services described herein, to be performed at the client's facility in Mexico Mexico City. This signature constitutes a binding agreement subject to the terms and conditions outlined above.
