Thank you for the opportunity to submit this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a qualified Biomedical Engineer to support the medical equipment maintenance, calibration, and technical oversight programs at your facility in Senegal Dakar. This document outlines the scope of services, associated costs, and contractual terms for your review and approval. 1. Scope of Services – Biomedical Engineer Engagement

The Biomedical Engineer proposed under this Quotation Estimate will provide comprehensive technical services tailored to the operational needs of Hôpital Général de Grand Dakar. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following activities:

Preventive and corrective maintenance of all medical devices including MRI scanners, CT units, ultrasound systems, patient monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, and laboratory analyzers.
Calibration and quality assurance testing of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment in compliance with Senegalese regulatory standards and international ISO 13485 requirements.
Technical assessment and feasibility studies for the procurement of new biomedical equipment, including vendor evaluation and installation supervision.
Development and implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for all biomedical assets in the facility.
Training of hospital technical staff on basic equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
Regulatory compliance reporting to the Direction de la Pharmacie et des Produits de Santé (DPPS) in Dakar.
Emergency response and on-call support for critical equipment failures, 24/7 availability.

3. Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period may be subject to revised pricing due to market fluctuations in parts, labor, and exchange rates applicable in Senegal Dakar.
All prices are quoted in West African CFA Francs (XOF) and are inclusive of applicable local taxes (TVA at 18%) unless otherwise stated. International shipping costs for imported spare parts will be itemized separately upon request.
Payment terms: 30% advance payment upon contract signature, 40% upon completion of the CMMS implementation and first quarterly maintenance cycle, and 30% upon successful completion of the 12-month engagement period. Payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of MedTech Solutions Africa SARL, Bank of Africa, Dakar, Senegal.
The Biomedical Engineer assigned to this contract shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, a valid professional license recognized by the Senegalese Ministry of Health, and a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant clinical engineering experience in a hospital environment.
MedTech Solutions Africa SARL shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of 50,000,000 XOF for the duration of the contract, specifically covering operations within Senegal Dakar and its metropolitan area.
Any additional services, emergency repairs, or equipment installations not covered under this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written addendum approved by both parties prior to execution.
The contract may be terminated by either party with a written notice of thirty (30) days. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date plus a 10% administrative fee.
All intellectual property, maintenance records, and technical documentation generated during the engagement shall remain the property of Hôpital Général de Grand Dakar. The Biomedical Engineer shall provide full handover documentation upon contract completion.
This Quotation Estimate is governed by the laws of the Republic of Senegal. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through the competent courts of Dakar, Senegal.

4. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes MedTech Solutions Africa SARL to proceed with the engagement of the Biomedical Engineer and the delivery of all services described herein for the facility located in Senegal Dakar.
