This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by MedTech Solutions Tanzania Ltd. to provide a comprehensive financial breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Biomedical Engineer to deliver specialized technical services within the healthcare infrastructure of Tanzania Dar es Salaam. This document serves as the official Quotation Estimate and shall remain binding for both parties for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue.
The Biomedical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall be a certified professional registered with the Engineering Council of Tanzania (ECT) and shall possess a minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience in hospital equipment management. The services to be rendered in Tanzania Dar es Salaam include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Full installation and commissioning of 24 units of digital X-ray imaging systems, 12 ultrasound diagnostic machines, and 8 automated hematology analyzers.
- Quarterly preventive maintenance schedules for all life-support equipment including ventilators, defibrillators, and patient monitors across the 120-bed inpatient facility.
- Calibration and performance verification of all laboratory instrumentation in compliance with Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS) regulations and ISO 15189 requirements.
- Emergency breakdown response and repair services available on a 24/7 basis within the Tanzania Dar es Salaam metropolitan area.
- Training of hospital technical staff (minimum 40 personnel) on safe operation, basic troubleshooting, and daily maintenance protocols.
- Preparation of a comprehensive asset register and maintenance logbook for all biomedical equipment in the facility.

- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Any acceptance beyond this period may be subject to revised pricing due to market fluctuations in spare parts and exchange rates.
- Payment terms: 40% advance payment upon contract signing, 30% upon completion of installation and commissioning phase, and 30% upon successful completion of the first quarterly preventive maintenance cycle.
- All payments shall be made in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) via bank transfer to the account of MedTech Solutions Tanzania Ltd., National Bank of Commerce, Tanzania Dar es Salaam Branch.
- The Biomedical Engineer shall comply with all applicable Tanzanian health regulations, occupational safety standards, and the Tanzania Medical Devices Regulations (2018).
- Any additional services or equipment not covered under this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a separate written amendment and mutual agreement.
- Warranty on all calibration and repair work performed by the Biomedical Engineer shall be a minimum of ninety (90) days from the date of service completion.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Tanzania Dar es Salaam in accordance with the Arbitration Act of the United Republic of Tanzania.
- Confidentiality: All patient data, hospital operational records, and proprietary technical information accessed during the engagement shall remain strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party.
