The scope of work outlined herein encompasses the full spectrum of biomedical engineering support required to ensure regulatory compliance, equipment reliability, and operational excellence across all clinical and diagnostic departments within the facility.
The Biomedical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate will operate exclusively within the Turkey Istanbul metropolitan area, adhering to all applicable regulations set forth by the Turkish Ministry of Health (T.C. Sağlık Bakanlığı), the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE), and the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) as adopted within the Turkish legal framework.
- Preventive Maintenance Program: The Biomedical Engineer shall design, implement, and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance schedule for all Class IIa, IIb, and III medical devices installed at the Turkey Istanbul facility, including but not limited to MRI scanners, CT units, ultrasound systems, patient monitors, infusion pumps, and surgical equipment.
- Corrective Maintenance and Troubleshooting: On-call and scheduled corrective maintenance interventions for all biomedical equipment, with a guaranteed response time of no more than four (4) hours for critical life-support devices and twenty-four (24) hours for non-critical devices within the Turkey Istanbul service zone.
- Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: Preparation and maintenance of all technical documentation, calibration certificates, and compliance reports required by Turkish health authorities. The Biomedical Engineer will ensure that all records are maintained in accordance with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 standards applicable in Turkey Istanbul.
- Equipment Installation and Commissioning: Full technical support for the installation, configuration, and initial commissioning of new biomedical equipment procured by the client, including site assessment, utility verification, and operator training sessions conducted at the Turkey Istanbul premises.
- Calibration and Quality Assurance: Periodic calibration of all measurement and diagnostic instruments using traceable standards, with issuance of calibration certificates recognized by the Turkish metrology authority (TÜBİTAK-UMM).

4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Upon expiration, all pricing, scope, and terms must be reconfirmed in writing by both parties before any service engagement commences in Turkey Istanbul.
4.2 Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in monthly installments within fifteen (15) business days of invoice receipt. A 10% advance payment is required prior to the commencement of services. All payments are to be made via bank transfer to the account of MedTech Solutions Istanbul A.Ş., registered in Turkey Istanbul.
4.3 Scope Changes: Any modification to the scope of services outlined in this Quotation Estimate must be documented through a formal Change Order signed by both the client and the assigned Biomedical Engineer. Additional services not included herein will be billed at the hourly rate of €95.00 plus applicable materials.
4.4 Confidentiality: The Biomedical Engineer and all personnel of MedTech Solutions Istanbul A.Ş. shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient data, proprietary equipment configurations, and operational information encountered during service delivery at the Turkey Istanbul facility, in compliance with Turkish Law No. 6698 (KVKK – Personal Data Protection Law).
4.5 Liability and Insurance: MedTech Solutions Istanbul A.Ş. maintains professional indemnity insurance with a coverage limit of €2,000,000. The Biomedical Engineer shall be covered under this policy for all activities performed within the Turkey Istanbul service area. Liability for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct is excluded from the insurance coverage and shall be addressed per applicable Turkish commercial law.
4.6 Termination: Either party may terminate the service agreement with sixty (60) days written notice. In the event of termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination as detailed in this Quotation Estimate.
4.7 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting service agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Turkey Istanbul.
