This Quotation Estimate is issued by MedTech Engineering Solutions LLC to provide a comprehensive and transparent cost breakdown for the engagement of a qualified Biomedical Engineer to deliver specialized technical services within the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi region. This document outlines the scope of work, professional fees, equipment requirements, and all associated terms governing the proposed engagement. The Quotation Estimate is prepared in accordance with the regulatory standards set forth by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH-AD) and the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) guidelines for biomedical engineering consultancy.
The Biomedical Engineer proposed under this Quotation Estimate shall provide the following professional services to the client facility located in United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi:
- Comprehensive calibration, maintenance, and preventive servicing of all biomedical and clinical engineering equipment including but not limited to patient monitors, ventilators, defibrillators, infusion pumps, and imaging systems.
- Biomedical equipment risk assessment and compliance auditing in alignment with DoH-AD regulatory requirements and ISO 13485 standards applicable in the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi healthcare sector.
- Installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing of newly procured medical devices and diagnostic equipment.
- Development and implementation of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for biomedical asset tracking.
- Training of hospital biomedical and clinical engineering staff on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and regulatory documentation.
- Preparation of technical reports, service logs, and regulatory compliance documentation as required by Abu Dhabi health authorities.
- Emergency breakdown response and on-call support for critical life-support equipment within the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi metropolitan area.

4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, pricing may be subject to revision based on market conditions, exchange rate fluctuations, or changes in regulatory requirements within the United Arab Emirates Abu Dhabi jurisdiction.
4.2 Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days from the date of invoice issuance. A 10% advance payment is required to mobilize the Biomedical Engineer team and procure necessary calibration equipment. Monthly retainer fees for on-site engineering services shall be invoiced on the first business day of each month.
4.3 Scope Limitations: This Quotation Estimate covers the services explicitly listed in Section 3. Any additional biomedical equipment beyond the estimated 350 devices, emergency repairs requiring parts procurement exceeding AED 5,000, or specialized imaging system servicing (MRI, CT, PET) shall be quoted separately.
4.4 Regulatory Compliance: The Biomedical Engineer and all supporting staff shall hold valid professional licenses recognized by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi (DoH-AD). All work performed shall comply with UAE Federal Law No. 2 of 2016 on Medical Devices and applicable Abu Dhabi municipal regulations.
4.5 Confidentiality: All patient data, facility information, and proprietary medical device configurations accessed during the engagement shall be treated as strictly confidential in accordance with UAE data protection laws and the client's internal information security policies.
4.6 Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of early termination, the client shall be liable for all services rendered up to the termination date plus any non-recoverable procurement costs.
4.7 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent service agreement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation. Failing resolution, disputes shall be referred to the competent courts of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
