This Quotation Estimate covers the full scope of carpentry services to be delivered by our team of licensed and experienced Carpenter professionals based in Kenya Nairobi. All woodwork shall be executed using locally sourced, sustainably harvested hardwoods including Mvule (Milicia excelsa), Mvire (Khaya anthotheca), and Mbuyu (Brachystegia sp.), which are native to the Kenyan highlands and well-suited to the Nairobi climate. The Carpenter team assigned to this project will consist of a lead master carpenter, two journeyman carpenters, and one apprentice, all of whom hold valid certifications from the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) of Kenya. All joinery work will be performed to British Standard BS 5268 and Kenyan Bureau of Standards (KEBS) requirements for structural woodwork. The project timeline is estimated at six (6) working weeks from the date of contract signing, with weekly progress reports submitted to the client.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Prices are subject to revision upon expiry due to fluctuations in raw timber costs in the Nairobi market.
- Payment terms: 40% advance payment upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon completion of 70% of the carpentry work, and 20% upon final inspection and handover.
- All payments shall be made in Kenyan Shillings (KES) via bank transfer to Eastwood Carpentry & Woodworks Ltd., Equity Bank, Nairobi branch, Account No. 0023456789.
- The Carpenter team shall provide a twelve (12) month workmanship warranty on all joinery, fittings, and structural woodwork delivered under this estimate.
- Any changes or additions to the scope of work beyond what is stated in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a revised quotation and written approval from both parties.
- The client shall provide safe access to the project site in Nairobi, Kenya, and ensure that all necessary building permits and approvals from the Nairobi City County Government are in place prior to commencement of work.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Nairobi, Kenya, in accordance with the Arbitration Act, Cap 49 of the Laws of Kenya.
- This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Service Agreement is executed by both parties.
