This Quotation Estimate is issued by Thabo Molefe Carpentry & Joinery (Pty) Ltd, a registered Carpenter operating in South Africa Johannesburg, in response to the client's request for comprehensive residential carpentry and joinery services. All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of all materials, labour, and standard tools. VAT is calculated at the current South African rate of 15% as per the South African Revenue Service (SARS) regulations.

The Quotation Estimate payment structure is as follows: A deposit of 40% (R 83,007.00) is due upon acceptance of this Quotation Estimate and prior to the commencement of any Carpenter work. A further 30% (R 62,255.25) is payable upon completion of all fabrication work and prior to final installation. The remaining balance of 30% (R 62,255.25) is due upon final handover, sign-off, and completion of all work at the Johannesburg site. All payments are to be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the company's designated bank account. Late payments will attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month as per the National Credit Act of South Africa.

The Carpenter team estimates a total project duration of six (6) weeks from the date of acceptance of this Quotation Estimate. Week 1: Site assessment, final measurements, and design approval. Weeks 2–4: Off-site fabrication of all custom units in our Johannesburg workshop. Week 5: On-site installation, fitting, and finishing. Week 6: Final inspections, client walkthrough, and handover. The schedule is subject to weather conditions for the exterior decking work and the availability of specific timber species in the South African market.

Important Conditions of This Quotation Estimate

1. This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be revised due to fluctuations in timber material costs in South Africa Johannesburg and the broader market.

2. The Carpenter reserves the right to substitute timber species of equivalent or superior grade if the specified species is unavailable, subject to prior written approval from the client.

3. All work performed by the Carpenter is guaranteed for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of final handover, covering defects in workmanship and materials. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, natural wear, or acts of God.

4. The client is responsible for obtaining all necessary municipal building permits and approvals from the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality prior to the commencement of structural carpentry work.

5. The Carpenter will maintain full public liability insurance (minimum R 5,000,000) throughout the duration of the project as required by South African law.

6. Any variations or additional work requested by the client beyond the scope of this Quotation Estimate will be subject to a separate written variation order and additional Quotation Estimate.

7. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until signed and accepted by both parties. Upon acceptance, it forms part of the service agreement between the Carpenter and the client.

8. All disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of Johannesburg shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Note: This Quotation Estimate has been prepared specifically for the residential property located in Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa. The Carpenter team will conduct a final on-site verification of all measurements prior to commencing fabrication. Any discrepancies discovered at this stage may result in a revised Quotation Estimate.
