This Quotation Estimate is issued by Process Engineering Solutions GmbH, a registered engineering consultancy headquartered in Germany Munich, in response to the formal request for proposal (RFP) submitted by Bavarian Process Industries GmbH. The purpose of this document is to provide a comprehensive, itemized cost breakdown for the professional services of a qualified Chemical Engineer who will be deployed to support process optimization, safety compliance, and plant commissioning activities at the client's manufacturing facility located in the Munich metropolitan area. The Chemical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties and deliverables over a projected engagement period of twelve (12) months, commencing upon mutual written confirmation:
- Process Design & Optimization: Conduct detailed thermodynamic and kinetic analyses of existing chemical reaction units; develop improved process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to increase throughput by a minimum of 12 percent while maintaining product purity specifications.
- Plant Commissioning Support: Provide on-site technical oversight during the commissioning of the newly installed distillation column and heat exchanger train at the client's facility in Germany Munich, including startup procedures, performance testing, and troubleshooting.
- Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Ensure all process modifications comply with German Federal Emissions Control Act (BImSchG), the Chemicals Act (ChemG), and applicable EU REACH regulations. Prepare and submit required documentation to the local Umweltamt (Environmental Office) in Munich.
- Mass & Energy Balance Studies: Perform rigorous mass and energy balance calculations for the entire production line, identifying opportunities for waste heat recovery and utility cost reduction.
- Training & Knowledge Transfer: Deliver a minimum of forty (40) hours of structured training to the client's in-house operations and maintenance teams on updated operating procedures, emergency response protocols, and new instrumentation systems.

Payment for the services outlined in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in monthly installments, invoiced on the last working day of each calendar month. The client shall remit payment within thirty (30) calendar days of the invoice date via bank transfer to the account designated by Process Engineering Solutions GmbH. A late payment surcharge of 1.5 percent per month shall apply to any outstanding balance beyond the due date, in accordance with German commercial law (HGB §288). The initial mobilization fee of 10 percent of the total Quotation Estimate value is due upon contract signature.
5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, all rates and conditions are subject to revision without prior notice.
5.2 The Chemical Engineer assigned to this project shall hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering (Diplom or M.Sc.) from an accredited German or EU university, with no fewer than eight (8) years of relevant industrial experience in process plants. The engineer shall be registered with the relevant Ingenieurkammer in Bavaria.
5.3 All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable German and European standards, including DIN, VDI, and EN norms. The project site is located in Germany Munich, and all on-site activities shall comply with local occupational health and safety regulations (ArbSchG).
5.4 Any change in scope beyond the parameters defined in Section 2 shall be subject to a formal change order, which will be priced separately and appended to this Quotation Estimate as a supplementary schedule.
5.5 Both parties agree to resolve any disputes arising from this engagement through mediation in Munich, Germany, before resorting to litigation. The courts of Munich shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
5.6 This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. Upon acceptance, it shall form an integral part of the master service agreement governing the engagement of the Chemical Engineer in Germany Munich.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and confirms acceptance of all terms, conditions, and pricing for the Chemical Engineer services to be rendered in Germany Munich.
