This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by the undersigned Chemical Engineer to provide a comprehensive, itemized breakdown of professional services, consultancy fees, and associated costs for the engagement of specialized chemical engineering expertise in Pakistan Karachi. The purpose of this document is to establish a transparent and mutually agreed-upon financial framework for the scope of work described herein. The Chemical Engineer named in this Quotation Estimate holds over fourteen (14) years of hands-on experience in process design, plant operations, environmental compliance, and industrial safety within the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food-processing sectors operating in and around Pakistan Karachi. This Quotation Estimate reflects the current market rates for qualified Chemical Engineer services in the Karachi metropolitan industrial corridor as of the date of issue.

The professional services covered under this Quotation Estimate for the Chemical Engineer engagement in Pakistan Karachi include, but are not limited to, the following deliverables:

  • Conduct a full process safety audit of Unit 3 (reactor train, distillation columns, and heat exchanger networks) at the client's facility located in SITE, Pakistan Karachi.
  • Prepare a detailed Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) study report with actionable recommendations for process improvement and risk mitigation.
  • Design and document a revised process flow diagram (PFD) and piping and instrumentation diagram (P&ID) for the proposed throughput increase of 15 percent.
  • Perform thermal and mass balance calculations for the existing and proposed operating conditions, ensuring compliance with Pakistan Environmental Protection Agency (PEPA) Karachi discharge standards.
  • Provide two (2) on-site engineering visits to the Pakistan Karachi plant facility, each visit spanning a full working day (eight hours), including travel within the Karachi metropolitan area.
  • Deliver a final technical report (minimum 60 pages) with executive summary, methodology, findings, and a prioritized action plan for management review.
  • Offer a 90-day post-delivery support window for clarification queries, minor design revisions, and one (1) follow-up site inspection in Pakistan Karachi.

  • Advance Payment: Forty percent (40%) of the Grand Total, amounting to PKR 660,800, shall be due within seven (7) working days of the client's written acceptance of this Quotation Estimate.
  • Milestone Payment: Thirty-five percent (35%), amounting to PKR 578,200, shall be payable upon submission of the draft technical report and completion of both on-site visits in Pakistan Karachi.
  • Final Payment: The remaining twenty-five percent (25%), amounting to PKR 413,000, shall be due within fourteen (14) days of the client's written acceptance of the final deliverables.
  • All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the Chemical Engineer as stated in the accompanying engagement letter. Cheques shall be drawn in favor of "Eng. Ahmed Raza Khan – Chemical Engineering Consultancy."
  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, rates may be revised to reflect changes in market conditions, fuel costs, or regulatory updates applicable to Pakistan Karachi.
  • The Chemical Engineer reserves the right to decline or modify the scope of work if the client's facility does not meet minimum safety prerequisites for on-site access in Pakistan Karachi.
  • All intellectual property, including process designs, calculations, and reports, shall remain the exclusive property of the client upon full and final payment. The Chemical Engineer retains the right to reference the project (anonymized) in professional portfolios and PEC compliance records.
  • Any work beyond the defined scope in Section 2 shall be subject to a separate Quotation Estimate and written change-order approval by both parties.
  • This engagement is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Karachi in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940.
  • The Chemical Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of PKR 10,000,000 throughout the duration of the engagement.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial obligations outlined herein for the engagement of the Chemical Engineer in Pakistan Karachi.
