2. Project Description and Scope of Work
This Quotation Estimate is issued by Northgate Civil Engineering Ltd. to Maplewood Development Group Inc. for the provision of comprehensive Civil Engineer services related to the Lakeshore Residential Infrastructure Upgrade project located in Canada Toronto. The scope encompasses geotechnical assessment, structural design of retaining walls, stormwater drainage system design, road and pavement engineering, and full municipal permitting support in accordance with the City of Toronto Building Code and Ontario Regulation 343/12.
Note: This Quotation Estimate covers all Civil Engineer professional services required for Phase 1 of the project. Additional phases or scope changes will be subject to a revised Quotation Estimate issued separately.3. Detailed Cost Breakdown

4. Payment Terms
This Quotation Estimate is structured with the following payment schedule: 30% upon execution of the professional services agreement, 40% upon completion of design and permitting phase, and 30% upon final delivery of as-built documentation and project closeout. All payments are due within thirty (30) calendar days of invoice date. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate prescribed under the Ontario Interest Act.
5. Terms and Conditions
5.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue. After the expiry date, Northgate Civil Engineering Ltd. reserves the right to revise rates based on current market conditions in Canada Toronto.
5.2 All Civil Engineer services shall be performed in accordance with the Ontario Professional Engineers Act, the City of Toronto Building Code, and applicable federal and provincial regulations.
5.3 The client acknowledges that this Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until a formal Professional Services Agreement is executed by both parties.
5.4 Any changes to the scope of work beyond 10% of the original estimate will require a written amendment to this Quotation Estimate, signed by both parties, before additional work commences.
5.5 Northgate Civil Engineering Ltd. carries professional liability insurance of $5,000,000 per occurrence and $10,000,000 aggregate, maintained with a Canadian insurance carrier.
5.6 All intellectual property, drawings, reports, and BIM models produced under this Quotation Estimate shall become the property of the client upon full payment.
5.7 Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in accordance with the rules of the Ontario Arbitration Association.
6. Assumptions and Exclusions
This Quotation Estimate assumes that the client will provide timely access to the site, existing utility records, and any third-party reports required. Excluded from this estimate are: demolition costs, construction labour and materials, third-party laboratory testing fees beyond the scope listed, and any remediation work identified during geotechnical investigation that exceeds the parameters of the original design brief.
