Scope of Civil Engineer Services

1. Site Investigation & Geotechnical Assessment: The Civil Engineer will coordinate with a licensed geotechnical firm to conduct borehole drilling, soil sampling, and bearing capacity analysis at the Kuwait Kuwait City site. A detailed geotechnical report will be delivered within 15 working days of mobilization.
2. Structural Design & Engineering Calculations: Full structural design of the reinforced concrete frame, foundation system (pile cap and raft), transfer slabs, and all secondary structural elements. The Civil Engineer will produce complete structural drawings, load calculations, and seismic design documentation in accordance with Kuwait Kuwait City seismic zone requirements.
3. Architectural Coordination & MEP Integration: The Civil Engineer will coordinate with the architectural and mechanical/electrical/plumbing consultants to ensure structural compatibility, service routing, and building envelope integration throughout the design phase.
4. Construction Supervision & Quality Assurance: Full-time Civil Engineer site supervision during the construction phase, including daily progress reports, material inspection and approval, concrete pour supervision, rebar inspection, and non-destructive testing coordination.
5. Regulatory Submissions & Permitting: Preparation and submission of all structural drawings and calculations to PAWH, Kuwait Municipality, and the Civil Aviation Authority for approval. The Civil Engineer will attend all review meetings and incorporate comments until final permits are issued for Kuwait Kuwait City.
6. As-Built Documentation & Handover: Compilation of complete as-built drawings, structural test certificates, and a comprehensive project close-out report for the client's records.

Terms and Conditions

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, prices are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Kuwait Kuwait City.
• All Civil Engineer services shall be performed by licensed and registered professionals holding valid Kuwait Engineering Society (KES) membership and PAWH-recognized credentials.
• The total project duration is estimated at thirty-six (36) months from the date of contract execution, subject to regulatory approval timelines in Kuwait Kuwait City.
• Any variation in scope exceeding ten percent (10%) of the original Quotation Estimate value shall require a written amendment signed by both parties.
• Payment terms are net thirty (30) days from the date of invoice issuance. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month.
• This Quotation Estimate does not include costs for third-party testing laboratories, geotechnical drilling equipment rental, or any municipal fees levied by Kuwait Kuwait City authorities, which shall be borne directly by the client.
• Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the Kuwait Arbitration Law No. 10 of 1982.
• The Civil Engineer assumes no liability for delays caused by force majeure events, government regulatory changes, or client-directed scope modifications.

Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this Quotation Estimate for Civil Engineer services to be delivered in Kuwait Kuwait City. This document, once countersigned, shall constitute a binding agreement between both parties.
