2. Scope of Services – Customs Officer Engagement

This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Trade Compliance Ltd. to provide a comprehensive and itemized cost breakdown for the professional engagement of a licensed Customs Officer to operate within the jurisdiction of China Shanghai. The Customs Officer engaged under this quotation will be a certified professional holding a valid Customs Broker Qualification Certificate issued by the Shanghai Municipal Customs Bureau. The officer will be responsible for the complete management of import and export clearance procedures at the Yangshan Deep-Water Port, Shanghai Pudong International Airport, and all designated inland customs supervision zones within the Shanghai Free Trade Pilot Zone.

4. Terms and Conditions

This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Any engagement beyond this period will require a revised quotation reflecting current market rates and regulatory fee structures in China Shanghai.
The Customs Officer named under this agreement shall not be reassigned without the prior written consent of the client. In the event of unavoidable absence, a substitute officer of equivalent or higher GACC certification level shall be provided at no additional cost.
All customs declarations, duty payments, and regulatory filings shall be processed in accordance with the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China (2021 revision), the Shanghai Municipal Trade Facilitation Regulations, and the operational guidelines of the Shanghai Customs District.
Payment terms: 30% advance upon acceptance of this quotation, 40% upon completion of the first six (6) months of service, and the remaining 30% upon successful completion of the full twelve-month engagement period. All payments shall be made in Renminbi (CNY) via bank transfer to the account designated by Meridian Trade Compliance Ltd.
The client acknowledges that the Customs Officer operates under the direct supervision of the Shanghai Customs Bureau and that all clearance decisions, inspections, and penalty determinations remain the sole authority of the GACC. This quotation does not guarantee specific clearance timelines or outcomes.
Any additional services beyond the scope defined in Section 3 shall be subject to a supplementary Quotation Estimate issued separately and accepted in writing by both parties before execution.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through arbitration at the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (SHIAC) in China Shanghai.
Confidentiality: All trade data, shipment manifests, and commercial information handled by the Customs Officer shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without the client's express written authorization.

5. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, the client confirms that this Quotation Estimate has been reviewed in its entirety and that the terms, scope, and costs associated with the engagement of the Customs Officer in China Shanghai are accepted without reservation.
