This Quotation Estimate has been prepared to provide a comprehensive and transparent financial overview of the professional services rendered by a licensed Customs Officer operating within the jurisdiction of Netherlands Amsterdam. The purpose of this document is to outline the scope of work, applicable fees, payment conditions, and regulatory compliance requirements associated with the engagement of a Customs Officer for the clearance, inspection, and documentation of goods entering or transiting through the Netherlands Amsterdam customs territory.

The Customs Officer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following duties within the Netherlands Amsterdam operational area:

  • Preparation, submission, and management of customs declarations (SAD, ENS, and EU customs forms) for all import, export, and transit shipments processed through the Port of Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport.
  • Classification of goods under the Combined Nomenclature (CN) and TARIC codes, ensuring accurate tariff application in accordance with EU Regulation 952/2013.
  • Coordination with the Dutch Customs and Excise Tax Administration (Douane) offices located in Amsterdam, including handling of queries, audits, and post-clearance reviews.
  • Arrangement and supervision of physical inspections of cargo at the designated Netherlands Amsterdam inspection facilities, including the Port of Amsterdam terminal and the Schiphol Airport cargo screening areas.
  • Advisory services regarding preferential trade agreements, duty relief schemes, and customs valuation methods applicable to goods cleared in the Netherlands Amsterdam region.
  • Maintenance of complete customs documentation records for a minimum period of five (5) years, in compliance with Dutch and EU record-keeping obligations.

Payment for the services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be made via bank transfer to the account of Amsterdam Trade & Customs Advisory B.V. within thirty (30) days of the invoice date. The monthly retainer fee (Item 3.1) is invoiced in advance on the first business day of each month. Per-declaration and per-inspection fees (Items 3.2 and 3.3) are invoiced monthly in arrears. Late payments shall accrue interest at the statutory Dutch rate as defined under Article 6:119a of the Dutch Civil Code.

The Customs Officer engaged under this Quotation Estimate holds a valid licence issued by the Dutch Ministry of Finance and is registered with the Dutch Customs and Excise Tax Administration. All operations conducted in the Netherlands Amsterdam area comply with the Union Customs Code (UCC), Dutch Customs Act (Douanewet), and applicable EU regulations. The client acknowledges that the Customs Officer acts as a licensed intermediary and that final customs decisions rest with the Dutch authorities. This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a guarantee of any specific customs outcome, clearance time, or duty assessment.

This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue. Acceptance of this Quotation Estimate shall be confirmed in writing by the client's authorised representative. Upon acceptance, a formal Service Agreement will be executed, incorporating all terms, conditions, and pricing as set forth in this document. Any modifications to the scope of services or fee structure must be agreed upon in writing by both parties prior to implementation.
