This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Customs & Trade Solutions (Pty) Ltd to provide professional Customs Officer services for the client's import and export operations at the Port of Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport, located in South Africa Cape Town. The engagement covers a twelve (12) month period commencing 1 August 2025 and concluding 31 July 2026, subject to the terms and conditions set out herein.
The appointed Customs Officer shall hold a valid Customs Broker's licence issued by the South African Revenue Service (SARS) and shall possess a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in customs clearance, trade compliance, and international logistics within the Western Cape region. The officer will be physically stationed at the client's Milnerton facility during standard business hours (07:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday) and will be available on-call for urgent clearance matters at the Port of Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport.

- 4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Thereafter, pricing may be subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions and SARS regulatory changes applicable in South Africa Cape Town.
- 4.2 Payment terms: Monthly recurring fees are payable within fourteen (14) days of invoice date. Quarterly and annual fees are payable within twenty-one (21) days of invoice date. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month or the maximum rate permitted by the National Credit Act, whichever is lower.
- 4.3 The Customs Officer shall comply with all provisions of the Customs and Excise Act 91 of 1964, the National Customs and Excise Tariff, and all SARS regulations in force at the time of service delivery.
- 4.4 Meridian Customs & Trade Solutions (Pty) Ltd shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than R 5,000,000.00 covering the Customs Officer's duties and shall provide a certificate of insurance upon request.
- 4.5 Either party may terminate this engagement with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, all fees accrued up to the effective date of termination shall remain payable.
- 4.6 The Customs Officer shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client trade data, commercial invoices, and proprietary information. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) shall be executed prior to commencement of services.
- 4.7 This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until countersigned by both parties. Acceptance of this estimate shall be deemed acceptance of all terms and conditions listed herein.
- 4.8 All services shall be rendered in accordance with the Western Cape provincial regulations and the operational guidelines of the Port of Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport authorities.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the scope of Customs Officer services, the itemised costs, and the terms and conditions as outlined in this document for operations in South Africa Cape Town.
