This Quotation Estimate is a non-binding financial projection intended to assist the client in budgeting and procurement planning. All figures are expressed in Brazilian Reais (BRL) unless otherwise stated, and are subject to the terms and conditions detailed in Section 7 of this document.

The Data Scientist engaged under this Quotation Estimate will be responsible for the following core activities, all to be performed on-site or remotely in support of the client's operations in Brasília:

• Data Acquisition & Engineering: Designing and implementing pipelines to collect, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data from multiple sources relevant to the client's business in Brasília.
• Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA): Conducting in-depth statistical analysis to identify patterns, correlations, and anomalies within the client's datasets.
• Predictive Modeling & Machine Learning: Developing, training, and validating machine learning models (including supervised, unsupervised, and deep learning architectures) to generate actionable forecasts and insights.
• Natural Language Processing (NLP): Building NLP solutions for text classification, sentiment analysis, and automated summarization of documents in Portuguese and English.
• Dashboard & Visualization Development: Creating interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or custom Python-based visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders in Brasília.
• Model Deployment & Monitoring: Deploying trained models into production environments and establishing monitoring frameworks to ensure ongoing model performance and data drift detection.
• Technical Reporting & Knowledge Transfer: Producing detailed technical reports and conducting training sessions for the client's internal team to ensure sustainable data science capability within the organization.

The Data Scientist proposed under this Quotation Estimate meets the following minimum qualifications:

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in data science roles, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and at least one major machine learning framework (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka).
• Fluency in Portuguese (native or C2 level) and professional proficiency in English, essential for collaboration within the Brasília business environment.
• Experience working with Brazilian regulatory frameworks, including LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados), for data privacy compliance.

Payment for the services described in this Quotation Estimate shall be made in monthly installments, due within 15 (fifteen) business days from the date of invoice issuance. The first installment is due upon project kickoff in Brasília. Late payments shall incur a financial penalty of 1% per month plus a 2% fine, in accordance with Brazilian commercial law (Código Civil, Art. 412).

• This Quotation Estimate is valid for 30 (thirty) calendar days from the date of issue.
• Prices are based on current exchange rates and Brasília municipal tax rates as of June 2025.
• The client is responsible for providing secure access to all relevant data repositories and systems.
• Travel expenses for the Data Scientist to and from Brasília (if applicable) are included in Item 04. Additional travel beyond the four scheduled sessions will be billed separately.
• This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract. A formal Service Agreement must be executed by both parties prior to commencement of work.

By accepting this Quotation Estimate, the client acknowledges and agrees to the following: All intellectual property generated by the Data Scientist during the engagement shall be transferred to the client upon full payment. The Data Scientist shall comply with all applicable Brazilian data protection laws, including LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018). Confidentiality obligations shall survive the termination of the engagement for a period of 3 (three) years. Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent Service Agreement shall be resolved through arbitration in Brasília, DF, Brazil, in accordance with the rules of the CAM-CCBC (Câmara de Arbitragem do Centro de Comércio Brasil-Canadá).
