This Quotation Estimate is prepared specifically for the engagement of a senior Data Scientist to deliver advanced analytics, machine learning model development, and data strategy consulting services to Meridian Digital Group S.A. All professional services described herein will be executed in and around Brazil Rio de Janeiro, with on-site presence at the client’s Barra da Tijuca headquarters for a minimum of three (3) business days per week, supplemented by remote collaboration from our Rio de Janeiro operations center.
The Data Scientist assigned to this engagement will possess a minimum of eight (8) years of professional experience in applied data science, with demonstrated expertise in Python, R, SQL, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and cloud-based data infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure). The professional will be a resident of Brazil Rio de Janeiro or will relocate to the city for the duration of the contract, ensuring full compliance with local labor regulations and tax obligations applicable in the state of Rio de Janeiro.

- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, pricing may be revised to reflect market conditions in the Brazil Rio de Janeiro technology sector.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in monthly installments via bank transfer (TED/PIX) to the account of TechBridge Analytics Solutions Ltda., due on the 5th business day of each month following service delivery. A 10% advance payment is required upon contract signature.
- Contract Duration: The engagement of the Data Scientist is for an initial term of twelve (12) months, renewable by mutual written agreement for successive twelve-month periods.
- Location of Performance: All on-site services will be performed in Brazil Rio de Janeiro. The Data Scientist will report to the client’s office at Av. Atlântica, 3500, Barra da Tijuca, on agreed-upon days. Remote work will be conducted from our registered office in the Centro district of Rio de Janeiro.
- Intellectual Property: All models, code, documentation, and analytical deliverables produced by the Data Scientist during this engagement shall be the exclusive property of Meridian Digital Group S.A., as stipulated in the master service agreement.
- Confidentiality: The Data Scientist is bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) compliant with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD — Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados, Law No. 13.709/2018). All personal data processed in Brazil Rio de Janeiro will be handled in strict accordance with LGPD provisions.
- Labor Compliance: The Data Scientist will be engaged under a CLT (Consolidação das Leis do Trabalho) contract or as a registered professional service provider (PJ), in full compliance with Brazilian federal and state labor laws applicable in Rio de Janeiro.
- Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement with sixty (60) days’ written notice. In case of early termination by the client, a pro-rata payment for services rendered up to the termination date will be due.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Brazil Rio de Janeiro, under the rules of the Câmara de Arbitragem da FIESP, with proceedings conducted in Portuguese.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters affecting the Rio de Janeiro metropolitan area, government-mandated shutdowns, or systemic IT failures.
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for the engagement of a Data Scientist to provide professional data science services in Brazil Rio de Janeiro, under the terms, conditions, and pricing outlined in this document. This acceptance constitutes a binding commitment to the scope of work described herein.
