This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Economic Advisory Group in response to a formal request for the engagement of a senior Economist to provide comprehensive economic analysis, policy advisory, and strategic forecasting services within the jurisdiction of Doha, Qatar. The Economist referenced in this document shall be a fully qualified professional holding a minimum of a Master's degree in Economics, Econometrics, or a closely related discipline, with no fewer than ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in macroeconomic modelling, fiscal policy evaluation, and trade analysis relevant to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region.
The scope of work outlined in this Quotation Estimate encompasses the Economist's full-time or part-time engagement as determined by the Client, including but not limited to: preparation of quarterly and annual economic outlook reports specific to Qatar's domestic and regional economic landscape; advisory support to the Client's executive leadership on matters of monetary policy, inflation trajectory, and labour market dynamics in Doha; participation in stakeholder meetings with the Qatar Central Bank, the Ministry of Finance, and the Qatar Development Bank; and the delivery of bespoke economic impact assessments for proposed infrastructure, energy, and diversification projects aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.
The following pricing structure constitutes the complete financial estimate for the Economist's services as rendered in Doha, Qatar. All amounts are quoted in Qatari Riyal (QAR) and are inclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate of 5% as mandated by the Qatar Tax Authority.

- Acceptance: This Quotation Estimate shall become a binding agreement upon written acceptance by the Client and countersignature by both parties. No services shall commence prior to full execution of the engagement contract.
- Payment Schedule: The total estimated cost shall be disbursed in quarterly instalments of QAR 222,862.50, payable within fifteen (15) business days of each invoice date. Late payments shall attract a penalty of 1.5% per month as per Qatari commercial law.
- Term and Termination: The Economist's engagement is for a fixed term of twelve (12) months from the commencement date. Either party may terminate the agreement with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of early termination by the Client, a pro-rata fee for the remaining period shall be due.
- Confidentiality: The Economist shall adhere to strict confidentiality obligations in accordance with Qatar's data protection regulations. All economic data, proprietary models, and strategic analyses produced under this engagement remain the exclusive intellectual property of the Client.
- Compliance: The Economist shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the State of Qatar, including but not limited to the Qatar Labour Law (Law No. 14 of 2004, as amended), the Qatar Central Bank regulations, and the Qatar Development and Reconstruction Authority guidelines where applicable.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the subsequent engagement shall be resolved through arbitration in Doha, Qatar, in accordance with the rules of the Qatar International Arbitration Centre (QIAC).
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government sanctions, or public health emergencies as declared by the Qatari authorities.
This Quotation Estimate assumes that the Client will provide the Economist with a dedicated workspace at the Client's premises in Doha, Qatar, along with reasonable access to internal data repositories and decision-making forums. Should the Client require the Economist to travel outside the State of Qatar for regional economic summits, GCC coordination meetings, or international economic forums, additional travel and per diem charges shall be quoted separately at the prevailing rates. The Economist's professional indemnity insurance, with a minimum coverage of QAR 5,000,000, shall be maintained throughout the engagement period at the Client's expense as itemised above.
Meridian Economic Advisory Group reserves the right to revise this Quotation Estimate should there be material changes in the scope of work, applicable Qatari tax legislation, or exchange rate fluctuations affecting the Economist's compensation structure. All revisions shall be communicated in writing and require mutual written consent before taking effect.
