This Quotation Estimate is issued by Global Economics Advisory Group (GEAG) to formally propose the engagement of a senior Economist for a comprehensive advisory and analytical engagement to be conducted in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City. The Economist proposed under this Quotation Estimate holds a Doctorate in Economics from a recognized international institution, with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of professional experience in macroeconomic policy, international trade, and emerging-market analysis. The Economist has prior working experience in Southeast Asian economies and possesses working proficiency in Vietnamese, ensuring seamless communication with local government agencies, the State Bank of Vietnam, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, and private sector stakeholders within Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City.
The Economist will be issued a valid work permit and temporary residence card in accordance with the Labor Code of Vietnam and the regulations governing foreign professionals operating in Ho Chi Minh City. All visa, work permit, and immigration-related costs are included within the travel and accommodation allowance specified in Item 05 of this Quotation Estimate.
4.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate shall remain valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates and terms are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City.
4.2 Payment Terms: A 30% advance payment of the total Quotation Estimate amount is due upon execution of the service agreement. The remaining 70% shall be invoiced monthly in arrears, payable within fifteen (15) business days of invoice receipt. All payments shall be made in USD via international wire transfer to the designated GEAG account.
4.3 Cancellation Policy: The client may terminate the Economist engagement with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, all fees for services rendered up to the termination date, plus a 10% administrative fee on the unexpired portion of this Quotation Estimate, shall be due.
4.4 Confidentiality: All economic data, forecasts, and strategic analyses produced by the Economist in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City shall be treated as strictly confidential. The Economist is bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for a period of three (3) years following the conclusion of this engagement.
4.5 Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting service agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Any disputes shall be resolved through arbitration at the Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
4.6 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Quotation Estimate due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government sanctions, or public health emergencies affecting Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City.
Important Note: This Quotation Estimate is a non-binding proposal. It does not constitute a contractual obligation until a formal Service Agreement is executed by both parties. The Economist's specific name and credentials will be confirmed in writing prior to the commencement of services in Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City.
