This Quotation Estimate is issued by Aurelia Media & Editorial Services S.r.l. to provide a comprehensive and transparent pricing breakdown for professional Editor services to be performed and delivered within the city of Rome, Italy. The Editor engagement encompasses the full editorial lifecycle, including but not limited to: initial content assessment, structural editing, copyediting, proofreading, formatting, and final quality assurance. All Editor services described herein shall be executed in strict compliance with Italian editorial standards, the Italian Civil Code (Codice Civile), and applicable European Union regulations governing media and publishing services.
The Editor assigned to this project will operate from our dedicated editorial studio located in the historic centre of Rome, ensuring proximity to the client's premises for in-person consultations, collaborative editing sessions, and on-site review meetings. The Editor will be available for a minimum of five (5) working days per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 09:00 and 18:00 CET, with optional Saturday availability subject to prior arrangement.

The Editor engagement is estimated to span a total of eight (8) weeks from the date of contract execution. The initial editorial strategy sessions will take place during Week 1 at our Rome studio. Structural editing and line editing will be conducted during Weeks 2 through 5. Proofreading, formatting, and multilingual review will occupy Weeks 6 and 7. The final delivery package, including the comprehensive editorial report, will be submitted to the client no later than the end of Week 8. All milestones are subject to timely provision of source materials by the client.
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. After this period, all Editor service rates and the total estimate may be subject to revision.
- Payment Terms: A deposit of 40% of the total Quotation Estimate amount is due upon acceptance. The remaining 60% is payable in two equal instalments: 30% at the midpoint of the project (end of Week 4) and 30% upon final delivery of the Editor's completed work. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Italian IBAN account specified on the invoice.
- Revisions: The Editor service includes two (2) rounds of revisions per editorial phase at no additional cost. Additional revision cycles beyond the included rounds will be billed at the applicable per-unit rate stated in this Quotation Estimate.
- Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all final Editor deliverables become the exclusive property of the client. Aurelia Media & Editorial Services S.r.l. retains the right to reference the project in its portfolio, subject to the client's written consent.
- Confidentiality: The Editor and all editorial staff engaged in Rome shall adhere to a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in accordance with Italian data protection law (D.Lgs. 196/2003) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation 2016/679).
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest in Rome, or government-mandated closures.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rome, Italy.
- Acceptance: This Quotation Estimate does not constitute a binding contract until formally accepted in writing by both parties. Acceptance may be provided by signing the copy of this document or by issuing a formal purchase order referencing Quotation Estimate No. QE-ROM-2025-0417.
