This Quotation Estimate is issued by Meridian Electrical Engineering Ltd. to Harbourfront Commercial Developments Inc. for the provision of comprehensive Electrical Engineer consulting, design, and oversight services for the Harbourfront Tower B Phase 2 project located in Canada Toronto. The scope encompasses all electrical engineering disciplines required to bring the 34-storey mixed-use commercial and residential tower into full compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC), the National Building Code of Canada (NBC), and all applicable City of Toronto municipal bylaws and zoning regulations.
Our senior Electrical Engineer team, led by a P.Eng. (Professional Engineer) licensed by the Ontario Professional Engineers Association (PEO), will deliver end-to-end electrical design documentation, load calculations, power distribution planning, lighting design, fire alarm and life-safety system engineering, and coordination with all mechanical, structural, and architectural disciplines. All deliverables will be produced in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code, Part I (CEC) and the applicable CSA standards.

- Payment Schedule: 30% upon execution of this Quotation Estimate, 40% upon delivery of the complete design package, and 30% upon final commissioning and ESA clearance. All payments are due within 30 days of invoice date.
- Validity: This Quotation Estimate remains valid for sixty (60) calendar days from the issue date. After expiry, all rates are subject to revision based on current market conditions in Canada Toronto.
- Licensing and Compliance: All Electrical Engineer services shall be performed by or under the direct supervision of a P.Eng. registered with PEO. All work shall comply with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code, the Canadian Electrical Code Part I, and all City of Toronto municipal regulations.
- Change Orders: Any scope modifications beyond the items listed above will be documented in a formal Change Order and priced at the Electrical Engineer hourly rate of $185.00 CAD per hour, subject to mutual written agreement.
- Insurance: Meridian Electrical Engineering Ltd. maintains Professional Liability (E&O) insurance of $5,000,000 CAD and Commercial General Liability of $2,000,000 CAD, both valid throughout the project duration in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
- Confidentiality: All project data, drawings, and proprietary information exchanged under this Quotation Estimate shall be treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
- Governing Law: This Quotation Estimate and any resulting contract shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Disputes shall be resolved through arbitration in Toronto, Ontario.
- Warranty: The Electrical Engineer design services carry a two-year warranty from the date of final commissioning, covering design errors and omissions attributable to our firm.
By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and authorizes Meridian Electrical Engineering Ltd. to proceed with the Electrical Engineer services described herein for the project located in Canada Toronto. This signature constitutes a binding agreement subject to the terms and conditions outlined above.
