This Quotation Estimate has been prepared by Kampala Electrical Engineering Solutions Ltd. to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of professional fees, materials, and associated costs for the engagement of a qualified Electrical Engineer in Uganda Kampala. This document serves as a formal Quotation Estimate outlining the full scope of electrical engineering services to be delivered, the estimated timelines, and the financial commitment required from the client. All figures presented in this Quotation Estimate are based on current market rates applicable to the Uganda Kampala region and reflect the professional standards expected of a licensed Electrical Engineer operating under the Uganda Engineering and Technical Chamber (UETC) regulations.
The Electrical Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate will provide the following professional services within the Uganda Kampala metropolitan area and its immediate environs:
- Site survey and assessment of existing electrical infrastructure at the client's premises in Uganda Kampala.
- Design and development of electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and load calculations compliant with the Uganda National Electrical Code (UNEC) and IEC standards.
- Specification and procurement oversight for all electrical materials, switchgear, transformers, cabling, and distribution equipment.
- Supervision of electrical installation works, including low-voltage and high-voltage systems, grounding, and lightning protection.
- Commissioning, testing, and certification of all electrical systems prior to handover.
- Preparation of as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and statutory compliance documentation for submission to the Uganda National Electrical Inspectorate.
- Provision of a twelve-month post-commissioning support and warranty period for all works executed by the Electrical Engineer's team.

This Quotation Estimate proposes the following payment milestones, to be agreed upon in the final service contract between the client and the Electrical Engineer's firm:
- 25% Advance Payment: Upon signing of the service agreement and receipt of this Quotation Estimate acceptance.
- 35% Progress Payment: Upon completion of design deliverables and procurement of major electrical materials.
- 30% Progress Payment: Upon completion of physical installation works and prior to commissioning.
- 10% Final Payment: Upon successful commissioning, statutory certification, and handover of all documentation.
5.1 Validity: This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, prices may be revised to reflect changes in material costs, exchange rates, or regulatory requirements in Uganda Kampala.
5.2 Currency: All amounts are quoted in Ugandan Shillings (UGX). Where USD equivalents are shown, they are for reference only and are based on the Bank of Uganda reference rate on the date of issue.
5.3 Exclusions: This Quotation Estimate does not include Value Added Tax (VAT) at 18%, which shall be added if applicable. It also excludes any civil or structural works not directly related to the Electrical Engineer's scope.
5.4 Compliance: All works shall comply with the Uganda National Electrical Code, the Energy Regulation Act (Cap 225), and all applicable regulations of the Uganda National Electrical Inspectorate and the Uganda Engineering and Technical Chamber.
5.5 Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through mediation in Kampala, Uganda, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act of Uganda.
5.6 Insurance: The Electrical Engineer's firm shall maintain comprehensive professional indemnity insurance and public liability insurance throughout the duration of the project in Uganda Kampala.
Note: This Quotation Estimate is a preliminary estimate based on the information available at the time of preparation. A detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and full engineering design package will be provided upon formal acceptance. The final contract value may be subject to adjustment following the detailed site survey conducted by the Electrical Engineer in Uganda Kampala.By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial estimates outlined herein for the engagement of the Electrical Engineer in Uganda Kampala.
