This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by our firm to provide a comprehensive and transparent breakdown of professional services rendered by a certified Electronics Engineer operating within the Uganda Kampala metropolitan area and its surrounding regions. The purpose of this document is to outline the scope of work, associated costs, timelines, and terms governing the engagement. The Electronics Engineer engaged under this Quotation Estimate shall perform the following professional duties within the Uganda Kampala project site and related locations:
- Design, development, and prototyping of custom electronic circuits and control systems tailored to the client's operational requirements in Uganda Kampala.
- Installation, commissioning, and calibration of industrial electronics equipment including PLCs, sensors, actuators, and communication modules.
- Conducting comprehensive diagnostic assessments and fault-finding on existing electronic infrastructure to ensure compliance with Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) regulations.
- Providing technical consultancy and advisory services on power distribution, signal processing, and embedded systems for facilities located in Uganda Kampala.
- Preparing detailed technical documentation, schematics, wiring diagrams, and as-built drawings for the client's records.
- Delivering on-site training sessions for the client's technical staff on the operation and maintenance of installed electronic systems.
- Performing periodic preventive maintenance and system health checks as agreed upon in the service schedule.

The total amount stipulated in this Quotation Estimate shall be disbursed to the Electronics Engineer service provider in the following instalments:
- 30% Advance Payment (UGX 8,159,700): Due upon acceptance and signing of this Quotation Estimate to mobilize the Electronics Engineer and initiate procurement of materials.
- 40% Progress Payment (UGX 10,879,600): Payable upon completion of installation and commissioning works at the Uganda Kampala project site.
- 30% Final Payment (UGX 8,159,700): Payable upon successful handover, delivery of all documentation, and expiry of the 30-day warranty period without unresolved defects.
The Electronics Engineer shall complete all deliverables outlined in this Quotation Estimate within a period of eight (8) working weeks from the date of contract execution. The project is scheduled to commence in Uganda Kampala no later than 1 July 2025, subject to client confirmation and site readiness.
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, prices may be revised to reflect changes in material costs or exchange rates applicable in Uganda Kampala.
- All work performed by the Electronics Engineer shall comply with the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) guidelines, UNBS standards, and applicable electrical safety codes of the Republic of Uganda.
- The client shall provide safe access to the project site in Uganda Kampala, necessary utilities (power, water), and any permits required for the execution of electronic works.
- Any changes to the scope of work beyond what is described in this Quotation Estimate shall be subject to a supplementary quotation and mutual written agreement.
- The Electronics Engineer shall carry professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of UGX 50,000,000 for the duration of the engagement.
- Disputes arising from this engagement shall be resolved through amicable negotiation, failing which they shall be referred to arbitration under the Uganda Arbitration Act, with the seat of arbitration in Uganda Kampala.
- Confidentiality: All proprietary information, designs, and data shared during the course of this project shall remain the exclusive property of the client and shall not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and pricing set forth in this Quotation Estimate for Electronics Engineer services to be delivered in Uganda Kampala.
