1. SCOPE OF WORK – ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER SERVICES IN CHINA SHANGHAIThis Quotation Estimate is issued by GreenScape Environmental Consulting Co., Ltd. to provide comprehensive Environmental Engineer services for the Shanghai Riverside Industrial Park Development project located in the Pudong New Area of China Shanghai. The scope encompasses environmental impact assessment (EIA), wastewater treatment system design, air quality monitoring, soil remediation planning, and ongoing regulatory compliance support in accordance with the Environmental Protection Law of the People's Republic of China (2014 revision) and all applicable local ordinances issued by the Shanghai Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau.
The designated Environmental Engineer assigned to this engagement will hold a valid Class-1 Registered Environmental Engineer (一级注册环保工程师) certification issued by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China, with a minimum of twelve (12) years of professional experience in industrial environmental projects within the China Shanghai metropolitan region.

4.1 This Quotation Estimate is valid for a period of ninety (90) calendar days from the date of issue. Any request for a revised Quotation Estimate beyond this period shall be subject to re-evaluation of material and labour costs prevailing in China Shanghai at that time.
4.2 All prices are quoted in Chinese Yuan (CNY) and are inclusive of the Environmental Engineer's professional fees, travel within the China Shanghai municipality, and standard field equipment. Costs for travel outside the Shanghai municipal boundary shall be billed at actuals with prior written approval.
4.3 The Environmental Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of CNY 10,000,000 per occurrence throughout the duration of the engagement.
4.4 All deliverables, including EIA reports, design drawings, monitoring data, and compliance filings, shall be submitted in both Simplified Chinese and English to satisfy the requirements of the Shanghai Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau and the client's international stakeholders.
4.5 Intellectual property rights in all documents produced under this Quotation Estimate shall vest in the client upon full payment. The Environmental Engineer retains the right to reference the project in professional portfolios with the client's written consent.
4.6 Force majeure events, including but not limited to government-mandated environmental shutdowns, typhoon-related work stoppages common to the China Shanghai coastal region, or changes in national environmental legislation, shall extend the project timeline on a day-for-day basis without penalty to either party.
4.7 Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate shall be resolved through arbitration under the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC) in accordance with its rules of procedure.
5. ASSUMPTIONS AND EXCLUSIONSThis Quotation Estimate assumes that the client will provide timely access to the project site in China Shanghai, furnish all existing geological and hydrological data, and obtain any necessary permits prior to the commencement of fieldwork. The following are excluded from the scope: construction of the WWTP, procurement of monitoring instruments, legal representation in environmental litigation, and any remediation works exceeding the design parameters specified herein. Additional Environmental Engineer services beyond the stated scope will be quoted separately via a supplementary Quotation Estimate.
