This Quotation Estimate is formally issued by GreenSahara Environmental Consulting Engineers to provide a comprehensive and itemized breakdown of professional fees, fieldwork costs, laboratory analyses, and deliverables associated with the engagement of a qualified Environmental Engineer for the Blue Nile Corridor Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) project located in Sudan Khartoum. This document serves as a binding financial proposal and outlines all costs, timelines, and obligations that will govern the professional relationship between our firm and the client for the duration of the specified environmental engineering services.

The Environmental Engineer assigned to this project will deliver the following professional services within the Sudan Khartoum metropolitan area and the surrounding Blue Nile floodplain:

  • Baseline environmental survey covering water quality, soil contamination, air emissions, and biodiversity mapping across 45 km of the Blue Nile corridor in Khartoum.
  • Preparation of a full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report compliant with the Sudanese Environmental Protection and Conservation Act (2001) and the National Environmental Management Authority (NEMA) guidelines.
  • Design of a stormwater and wastewater management system for the proposed industrial zone adjacent to the Khartoum Omdurman bridge.
  • Development of an Environmental Management Plan (EMP) with monitoring protocols for a minimum of 24 months post-construction.
  • Community consultation and public disclosure sessions conducted in Arabic and English for residents of the affected Khartoum neighborhoods.
  • Submission of all regulatory filings to the Khartoum State Environmental Authority and the Federal Ministry of Environment.

This Quotation Estimate proposes the following milestone-based payment structure, payable in Sudanese Pounds (SDG) via bank transfer to the account of GreenSahara Environmental Consulting Engineers, Bank of Khartoum, Branch: Al-Murakba:

  • Milestone 1 (30%): Upon contract signing and mobilization of the Environmental Engineer team to the Khartoum project site – SDG 8,607,750
  • Milestone 2 (25%): Upon completion and submission of the baseline environmental survey data – SDG 7,173,125
  • Milestone 3 (25%): Upon delivery of the draft EIA report and EMP for client review – SDG 7,173,125
  • Milestone 4 (20%): Upon final regulatory approval by the Khartoum State Environmental Authority and project closeout – SDG 5,738,500
  • This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, all rates are subject to revision based on prevailing market conditions in Sudan Khartoum.
  • All professional services shall be performed by a licensed Environmental Engineer registered with the Sudanese Engineers Syndicate (SES) and holding a valid Class A Environmental Practice Certificate.
  • The client shall provide all necessary site access permits, security clearances, and logistical support within the Sudan Khartoum jurisdiction to enable uninterrupted fieldwork.
  • Any scope changes, additional sampling locations, or extended monitoring periods beyond the 6-month engagement will be billed separately at the unit rates specified in Section 3.
  • Intellectual property rights to all reports, data sets, and design documents produced by the Environmental Engineer team shall transfer to the client upon full payment of the final milestone.
  • Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate or the resulting contract shall be resolved through arbitration under the Sudanese Arbitration Law, with the seat of arbitration in Khartoum.
  • This estimate does not include government taxes, import duties on specialized laboratory equipment, or third-party laboratory fees exceeding the amounts stated herein.
Note: All monetary values in this Quotation Estimate are expressed in Sudanese Pounds (SDG) at the Central Bank of Sudan reference rate as of 15 June 2025. In the event of significant currency fluctuation exceeding 15% during the project period, the Environmental Engineer's firm reserves the right to issue a revised Quotation Estimate with adjusted rates, subject to mutual written agreement.

By signing below, the client acknowledges receipt of this Quotation Estimate and agrees to the terms, conditions, and financial obligations outlined herein for the engagement of the Environmental Engineer services in Sudan Khartoum.
