1. Project Description and Scope of Work
This Quotation Estimate is issued by GreenSolutions Environmental Consulting Ltd. in response to the request for professional Environmental Engineer services for the proposed Coastal Road Expansion Project in Tanzania Dar es Salaam. The scope of work encompasses a comprehensive Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) in full compliance with the Environmental Management Act, Cap. 418 of the Laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the guidelines issued by the National Environment Council (NEC) of Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
The Environmental Engineer team will conduct baseline environmental surveys, impact prediction and mitigation planning, stakeholder consultation, and preparation of the final ESIA report for submission to the National Environment Management Council (NEMC) in Tanzania Dar es Salaam. All fieldwork will be executed within the Mbezi Beach, Kigamboni, and Temeke districts of Tanzania Dar es Salaam.

All prices are quoted in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) and are inclusive of all professional fees for the Environmental Engineer team. This Quotation Estimate does not include third-party laboratory fees beyond those listed in item 9, nor any costs arising from scope changes requested by the client after contract award.
3. Payment Terms
Payment shall be made in the following instalments against verified deliverables:
- 30% Advance Payment: Upon signing of the service agreement and submission of the project inception report.
- 40% Progress Payment: Upon submission of the draft ESIA report and completion of all stakeholder consultations in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
- 20% Completion Payment: Upon NEMC approval of the final ESIA and handover of the EMP/EMoP documents.
- 10% Retention: Released upon successful completion of the 12-month construction-phase Environmental Engineer supervision and final compliance audit.
All payments shall be made via bank transfer to the account of GreenSolutions Environmental Consulting Ltd. at CRDB Bank, Tanzania Dar es Salaam branch, within 14 calendar days of invoice submission.
4. Terms and Conditions
- This Quotation Estimate is valid for thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issue. Beyond this period, prices may be revised to reflect changes in market conditions in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
- The Environmental Engineer services shall be performed in strict accordance with Tanzanian environmental legislation, NEC guidelines, and international best practices (ISO 14001, IFC Performance Standards).
- The client shall provide reasonable access to project sites, existing data, and coordination with relevant government agencies in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
- Any variation in scope exceeding 10% of the original Quotation Estimate value shall require a written amendment signed by both parties.
- Confidentiality: All data, reports, and findings generated under this engagement shall remain the property of the client. The Environmental Engineer team shall not disclose project details to third parties without written consent.
- Disputes arising from this Quotation Estimate and subsequent contract shall be resolved through arbitration in Tanzania Dar es Salaam in accordance with the Arbitration Act, Cap. 20 of the Laws of Tanzania.
- The Environmental Engineer shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of not less than TZS 500,000,000 for the duration of the engagement.
5. Acceptance and Authorization
By signing below, the client acknowledges and accepts this Quotation Estimate for Environmental Engineer services in Tanzania Dar es Salaam. This document, once countersigned, shall form the basis of the service agreement between the parties.
